Murphy’s Law: If an emergency is going to occur, it will happen on a holiday weekend. On memorial weekend, a huge portion (about 1/2 the tree) of a Texas live oak split and landed on my roof. I left messages with several 24-hour emergency tree service companies. Jim Yates was the only company to respond during the holiday weekend. By the time other companies returned my call (after the holiday weekend), Yates was finished removing the tree. Everyone I spoke with on the team was courteous, friendly and professional. The Yates team did an exceptional job with the removal and cleanup, especially working in temps over 100 degrees! We have been using Yates Tree for years. Bottom line: I would never use any other company. Mr.Yates is THE expert. I trust him to care for our trees and shrubs as well as he cares for own. He and his crew are honest to the core, timely, responsible, and a pleasure to work with. Our property always looks great after Mr. Yates and hid crew are done with performing their magic.

Yates Tree Inc. recently did an outstanding job trimming our live oaks and red oaks. They also removed a dead fruit tree and pruned several trees/shrubs. While working they were attentive to various landscaped beds, careful not to damage any plantings. They also provided neat/tidy clean up. This was our third time using Yates Tree Inc., and as previously, they were reasonably priced and did great work!

We had used the same well-know tree service for decades and finely got fed up with their lack of response, their poor quality work and, not following our requests. We interviewed 3 other well-known companies before meeting Jim Yates. None of the three seemed to have the knowledge and experience that we were looking for our trees. After just 15 minutes with Jim, he identified things we had requested for the past several years from our former company and then recommended several additional things we had not thought of that have changed the look of our trees for the better. He even identified insect damage in one tree that no one else had. He treated the tree and even doing that he was still in the middle of the other in terms of price. Jim's crew arrived on time, obviously well-skilled and, took great care of the yards and other trees bushes and, plants. This was a two-day project and they cleaned the yard and removed all debris each day. Our bid from Jim was detailed in what needed to be done, and they accomplished it and more! Jim, who supervised the work, discovered several other items that were not in his bid and fixed those and kept to his original bid. We will highly recommend Yates Tree Service for doing knowledgable, high-quality work and far exceeding expectations.

Jim Yates and his team work tree magic! There are many tree trimming services that come through our neighborhood and do a quick scalp - no real thought as to what should be cut. Yates is professional tree trimming at its finest. They don't just trim and cut trees - they know about trees. They took time to cut the trees properly, knew which trees needed to be removed to preserve the good trees and left an immaculate yard. Other than beautifully trimmed trees, you would never know they had been here; not a stray branch anywhere. I would highly recommend Jim and his crew to anyone who needs professional tree trimming.
