Excellent customer service from start to finish with Yanez Tree Service Experts. I had one large tree that was three feet away from out house removed, and major branches of two other trees removed. The crew at Yanez was friendly and hardworking, and Chris, the crew chief was an excellent communicator. He spent a lot of time talking with me to be sure he understood exactly what I wanted done, giving recommendations on what branches to remove to best protect the health of the trees, and overall just making sure I was satisfied with everything they did. There was no damage at all to our house or yard. They also cleaned up my yard completely, so that you could not even tell they had been here. Our house (and our neighbors) is safer now due to their work. It was an outstanding experience hiring this small family-owned business (and the exact opposite of a bad experience I had a year ago with one of the big tree service companies in Montgomery County). Yanez Tree really cares about customer satisfaction - and they care about helping you maintain healthy trees so you can keep and enjoy them for many more years. They also have competitive pricing. This is the only company I will call in the future for tree work.

We had 2 very large trees (50’ plus) taken down in pretty tight quarters and another 10-12 medium size trees removed and the Yanez team was quick, professional and went above and beyond the scope doing general clean-up leaving the site looking better than when they arrived. A very nice family owned business that treats their customers as their own family. We had extensive tree work done with lots of detailed elements. They came in on a Sunday, and were very friendly, efficient and hard working. They went beyond what they were told and left the place looking very clean and neat. Our home backs up to the woods and while cleaning up in that area, they ran into some aggressive bees! Luckily the Yanez team was not deterred and had a solution (literally a solution in a spray can) to deal with the bees! All in all, I would hire them again and happily recommend them for any tree work you may have.

In the storms of summer 2025, we had a huge oak tree from the neighbor's yard fall into our yard, taking down three more medium-sized trees as it fell. The result was both a mess, and a hazard. The trees all had to be disentangled carefully — to get them off the yard, and to do so safely. Yanez Tree inspired confidence from the first visit, to do an estimate. Alex Yanez talked to us not just about the trees that fell, but the trees around them in the yard. How to save some that were damaged. How to avoid taking down a big tree other tree cutters insisted must be removed to do this job. The Yanez crew needed four days to clear the debris — 10 people on day 1, and 8 people on the next three days. We have a wooded lot inside the city of Washington, and we lost a lot of tree cover. They couldn't put the trees back up — sadly. But their work was outstanding. Careful, effective, well-executed. They went above and beyond simply cutting the trees. And they constantly touched base to make sure they were proceeding the way we wanted. We can recommend Yanez Tree Service without reservation. They have started helping us rebuild our small forested area. They know trees and this difficult work. And not least, they cleaned up meticulously.

We are very happy with the extensive tree work performed by Yanez. Alex, Christian, and their entire team were very professional and easy to work with.
