Poehls Tree Service

We've had Poehls Tree Service take down trees on two occasions: the first in the of summer 2023 and the second in August 2025. As I write this, we're a day after the second experience. Honestly, we're in mourning. We liked our ash tree. We loved the shade it created (if less recently). But, we also didn't want the three-quarters-dead tree falling on our house. Justus and his team did a expert job for a fair price. The yard was left spotless. They were careful when they used their equipment on our yard. Total props to to their skill of climbing trees with ropes and a chainsaw and dropping limbs perfectly where they need to go. Honestly, I hope I don't have to use them again anytime soon. But, for others in need, I totally recommend the work they do.

Justus like Spiderman and Tony on the ground moving everything Justus dropped it was fantastic. Great work and cleanup. Anyone else would have needed a crane not these guy's. I recommend Justus without reservation.

Excellent experience!!! Justus and his crew removed multiple ash trees with care and precision. The cost was significantly less than a quote I received from a larger company. Justus answered all my questions with knowledge and respect. And the entire area was left tidier than it was before they arrived. I could not recommend Poehls Tree Service more highly.

They did an awesome job removing a huge & difficult double-trunk tree that was half dead and overhanging my home, and also removed a few limbs overhanging my garage. They were prompt, communicative, and reasonably priced… And cleaned up after themselves in the yard every evening before leaving for the day. Would highly recommend their services to anyone! Fast communication, Great work and they cleaned up my yard so good it looked better after than before they started. I had a big ugly box elder tree in a small space and they did their magic. Good bye bugs and hello sunlight.
