Lowney's Tree Service

I recently had a large blue spruce and a large buckthorn tree removed from my property. Additionally I had a crabapple tree trimmed back away from my home's overhead electrical feed. Finally I had these stumps ground, also through Lowneys. The spruce was kinda over my house and next to the overhead electrical lines that feed my home. Lowneys did a great job removing that tree. It was in a dangerous spot and they got it done without damage to my house. There was minor landscaping damage but hey, that's to be expected when you're dropping logs from 50' in the air. No problem there. Same story with the buckthorn, the tree was cut down swiftly and professionally. Where I was more unhappy was with the crabapple tree. They contacted the utility to kill power to my home so they could do it safely - this was awesome and I'm glad they did it - but when all was said and done, I still have crabapple limbs touching my electrical feed. Also they cut a bit haphazardly on the tree. Now there is a large cut on the tree for no apparent reason and limbs still touching the feeders that I'll have to have someone else address, even though I paid for this work. The haphazard cut looks like it'll be fine but if the tree gets infected this story will change. Like I mentioned in the top, I also requested stump grinding. I approved these services on April 19th. The trees got cut down I believe a week or two after that. The stumps sat there for a long time after the trees got cut. I had called after a couple weeks wanting an update because it seemed like it had been a while and I was told the stump grinder would reach out to me as a heads up when he was in the area. It was long enough that I just figured Lowney's wasn't going to do it. I had people stopping by offering to grind these stumps for me and I turned them away out of respect for Lowney's. Finally after a month and a half from receipt of payment, June 2nd, I had another company (won't name them) come and give me a quote for less and said they could get it done ASAP. I was just about to pay them when, to my surprise, I come home June 6th and the stumps are gone. It took a month and a half to do it. I then had to call the other contractor and tell them I wasted their time because Lowney's failed to communicate with me. I then contacted Lowney's because I was going to voice my frustration there and was told a rep would call me a few minutes after I hung up the phone. No phone call. So here I am leaving my review for all this. TL;DR, They remove trees very well. Tree trimming be cautious if you don't want sloppy work, and stump grinding look elsewhere.

Lowney's Tree Service did an absolutely FANTASTIC job of trimming 2 birch trees in our front yard, and 2 spruce trees, a crimson maple, and crabapple tree in our back yard. All 6 trees look SOOO much better now and I wish I had called them sooner. I actually go outside sometimes to look at the trees and admire them because I've never seen them look this good before. They were able to schedule us quickly because our neighbor was already on their schedule to have a dead tree removed in their front yard. So they scheduled us for the same morning. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up front & back yard very well. Adam even came out the following day to cut down some saplings under the spruce trees. Excellent communication by Alyssa who coordinated everything and addressed all my questions and concerns. The service provided was excellent, and everyone I talked to was very polite and very professional. Deven and his crew did an excellent job of removing a dead tree and some additional limbs from my Mom's yard. They were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of her property. They did a thorough job of cleaning up the debris and the yard looked great when they were done. I'd give them a 10 out of 10 stars and will definitely refer people in need of tree removal service to Lowney's, especially Deven and his team!

I've used Lowney's (formerly Jason's) tree service many times to both remove and trim our trees. This was our first time using them since the name changed and they still provide the same care and professionalism as before.
