The whole process was seamless from the initial written quote and timely communication to providing the correct COI coverage before starting. We've used Monkey Business for many years to keep our trees trimmed to look good and withstand hurricanes. The crew has always been attentive to what we wanted and went above and beyond what we were expecting. We recently moved from Winter Haven to an historic house in Bartow. It is an 1870 Victorian house that is surrounded by large Oaks, Camphors, Palms, etc. Ray's crew trimmed all the trees on the north side that were over the house, removed a couple of out of place Palms, and some other unwanted trees that were hiding the house. The big project was removing a large Oak that was showing signs of decay in the top limbs. The tree was within a couple of feet from the corner of our front porch, and most of the big limbs were over the house. Ray surveyed the situation and came up with a plan. The power company cut power to the house and removed the overhead cable to make room for the crane and keep everyone safe. The crane was positioned and Ray went to work on the controls, carefully removing limb after limb. When he got to the bigger and potentially rotten limbs, the head on the crane was switched to accommodate the larger girth. Each limb was grabbed by the jaws, the built-in chainsaw cut through, and the large limbs lowered to the ground, where the crew went to work cutting them into manageable pieces for removal. Nothing fell onto the roof and the final felling of the trunk was done with precision. In fact, a landscape person was mowing across the street and stopped to watch the final, delicate act. After the large trunk hit the ground, the guy came over on his mower and shook the hand of Ray's professional crew member. I can't say how much I appreciate the careful attention Ray and his crew showed on this job. The cleanup afterwards was done with the same attention to detail. I wish there were more than 5 stars available in Google reviews!

Ray and his crew did a fantastic job at a great price! Everyone was friendly and professional. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to clean up afterwards; my roof and yard looked better after they left than it did before they showed up. I will definitely call Monkey Business again for any future tree work and recommend them to friends and family.
