J&J's Tree and Lawn LLC

My husband and I just moved out to VA from AZ, and bought a house in Portsmouth. Unfortunately the previous owners did not care for the trees on our property, and during a rain storm we had a huge branch from a tree hit the house. We called J & J. Jonathan came out did an estimate and within a week all my trees were trimmed, over grown foliage was removed or cut back. The guys were GREAT! They were polite, and respectful of all the property, and cleaned everything up when they left. I will DEFINATLY recommend them to anyone looking for a landscaping/ tree service, and I will DEFINATLY be calling them again for future services.

I recently hired J&Js Tree Service to remove two trees from our yard, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, timely, and incredibly personable. They arrived right on schedule, carefully assessed the trees, and took the time to explain the process. J & J’s Tree and Lawn are absolute gems! We unfortunately had a lot of life happening, so our yard and trees got overgrown. I looked up tree removal/lawn care in the area & they popped up. Within less than 15 minutes of inquiring about a quote, I received a call back & set up a time for the next day for a quote (which is amazing due to the fact that we had been ghosted by a couple of companies or never received a response). Jonathan came out and was professional & courteous! He gave me a quote right on the spot, and was over the following day taking care of the job! Jonathan & his crew did a phenomenal job, we are very pleased & will have them remove more trees for us. Thank you!

The kindest person I have ever met. Called on a very early Sunday morning with a branch that came down the day before. He got here within the hour and took it down without questions. Also gave me advice on other trees surrounding the house. Absolutely saving their number for a future big project.

We had overgrown hedges that have been quite the eye sore so we invested in installing a fence, which needed to be complete the same week. Jonathan and his crew came to our house and knocked out our hedges that framed our backyard--ALL IN JUST HALF A DAY! These are some hard-working guys. They were nonstop until the job was complete!! They kept the yard debris in order, cleaned up, and cleared the sidewalk before any of my fellow neighbors could complain. J&J's Tree and Lawn was affordable, professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend!!
