Happy's Tree Service

These guys were hired by my neighbor to trim a little fruit tree and in the process one of the employees broke out a window of one of their trucks on accident. It was parked directly in front of my house and I felt like it was pretty obvious they’d take care of it before leaving, but they didn’t. Instead they took off and left a pretty significant amount of broken glass in the street in front of my house. I called asking whether they planned to come back out and clean it up, and his response was “uhh… well it’s on city property…what do you want me to do, blow the glass into your yard? I live an hour and a half away but I’ll come back and blow the glass into your yard if you want.” I looked back outside and the woman whose tree they’d trimmed was out in the street sweeping up their mess. So I called the city myself and they came out with a street sweeper and took care of it. Not the kind of work ethic and customer service I’d expect from a small business owner with good reviews. Super disappointed in the way the situation was handled. I have a kid who plays outside all the time and there are many other kids on our street as well. Guy could have very simply taken the 2 minutes it took me to call the city himself and handled it and everything would be great.

Crew showed up on time had the tools and equipment needed to do the job.Happy wanted me to do a few walk throughs with him as job was progressing to make sure I was happy. They did a great job and did it fast. And cleaned up before they left.

This is the second time I’ve used Happy’s tree service. First, their prices are unbeatable. Second, Steve, the arborist, is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. Third, Steven (Steve’s son) was very nice and communicative while managing my most recent job. Last, Wendy is wonderful with costumer service. I wouldn’t use anybody else and would recommend Happy’s to everyone!

Steve and team did a great job with my 2 big camphors and the secondary trees on the property. Fantastic having a certified arborist that can tell you WHY he suggests something and explain the risks and rewards. And priced reasonably to boot! Great experience and we'll be repeat customers for sure.

We are so pleased with the end result of Steve and his crew cutting down our big palm trees and thinning out overgrown birds of paradise and other large trees. They were on time, friendly, professional, and cleaned up all the mess before they left. I would highly recommend Happy’s Tree Service if you want to be happy with the results! Susan & Gary
