I just had an outstanding experience with Greater Pitt Tree Service. It began with Stephanie, the office manager. She is the glue that holds the operation together, from initial contact to job completion. Communication was outstanding throughout. I called about a dead beech tree that needed to be removed. This wasn't going to be your everyday routine removal as it was a very large tree off the back wall and leaning, on an unstable hillside. Mike came out along with Carlos, the owner, to assess the situation. Logistics were discussed and all questions were answered. This process was low stress, hassle free with no sales pressure. Upon acceptance the work was scheduled. On the day the job was to be performed the crew arrived promptly and went to work. It was obvious from the beginning these folks know what they are doing. Often with a job this complicated something unplanned is bound to happen. I have nothing in this regard. It was a thought out process and they performed splendidly. When it came time for the cleanup the crew's professionalism was on display again as they did a better job than I would have done. Thank you to everyone for a job well done. I can't end this review without saying something about the cost. There is more to the cost of a job than numbers. If you want somebody to simply come out and cut your tree down you can find someone to do that at a certain price point. If you want professionals who are trained, insured and will do the job properly you will pay more. The price was reasonable and I had no doubt that the job was going to be done properly. This was a great investment in my opinion. Greater Pitt Tree Service doesn't claim to be the least expensive but they can take pride in saying they are one of the best (most likely THE best) and at the top of their game. That's my two cents worth and with that I'm done.

I called Greater Pitt Tree Service for an estimate on pruning/trimming 2 of our maple trees. We had used the company last year and were very pleased with their work. Jim arrived on time and was very thorough in explaining the pros and cons of pruning our trees. The bottom line...Jim recommended that we NOT prune for at least the next 2 years! In fact, Jim used a lopper to remove a few low hanging branches at no charge. I highly recommend Greater Pitt Tree Service for any of your needed tree services.

We used Greater Pitt Tree Service for a very difficult job. The large trunk of an approximately 60 ft. evergreen was ready to split down the middle. The major problem was no vehicle access to our backyard. Thankfully, our neighbor to our left gave us permission to use his empty lot for the large crane required. GPTS got as close as possible to send their guy up in the tree to systematically and carefully begin the process of securing large limbs, cutting, and lifting them slowly and laying them down so the rest of the crew could do their individual jobs. From start to finish, GPTS was precision in motion. They communicated well with each other, cleaned up fallen twigs from our yard and left our neighbor's lot exactly as they found it! All of this was accomplished in less than 3 hours!! It was unbelievable to watch. Kudos to these hard-working guys! We have no more trees, but we wholeheartedly endorse GPTS for your next big job. We totally agree with another reviewer that you could probably get someone else cheaper, but you're taking a huge risk! These guys have the knowledge, the skill, and lots of trucks and equipment to finish the job right!! Thanks, GPTS, for an outstanding job.

The whole crew was remarkable. They were able to remove some very hard to reach trees on our property seemingly without any difficulty at all. They were finished with the job before I knew it, and they didn’t leave so much as a twig behind to suggest that any work had been done at all. All of that work getting done in less than ideal weather conditions is even more impressive.

This company was clearing fallen trees on a neighbors property today. Very well organized and efficient work flow. Professional looking job site and quick getting work done and cleaned up. Just snapped a few photos for practice, enjoy.
