Great crew, all work fully explained, good cleanup, worked fast and put everything back in place that had to be moved. Arch checked in at start of job, answered all our questions, as did the crew as the day went on. Highly recommend this company as tree artists who clearly are dedicated to preservation as much as they are to trimming trees as necessary and removal of dead material. Northwood cleaned up mature and much loved huge pin oak in our Pt Breeze back yard, cleaned up a semi-mature norway maple in front and cleared a dead tree on our garden lot. Thanks for the great work.

I had a young tree planted in the last few years that started browning. I looked up a few different tree care companies but Northwood was rated the highest and all the customers were happy with their service and follow-ups. They recommended a root excavation, which was recently completed, and had a detailed explanation of what they had done and what to look out for moving forward. Overall I was very happy with the communication and service provided and would definitely hire them again.

Archie and his crew do a tremendous job. You can tell they are extremely knowledgeable and really care about the ongoing health of your trees. Unlike other companies that simply go in and cut, he and his team work to shape your tree and insure its continued growth. I highly recommend using them.

Eric was great! He was really knowledgeable, honest, and focused on the health of my plants -- not making money. My old tree care company usually recommended spraying, but Eric explained that the goal is to have resilient plants, and that in this case spraying would be counterproductive. He spent a lot of time educating me, and left me with a recommendation to be better about watering my shrubs. He wasn't at all pushy. Total bill: $0.00. I will definitely be calling him again next year!
