Buckhout Inc. Tree Service and Landscaping

I had two very large and deep rootballs/trunks of Crape Myrtle’s that had previously been ground down but continued to re-sprout. These things were the largest eye sore in my front yard and I had tried everything to kill them. I actually flagged down Leigh while he was working on a job for my neighbor and asked is he could work on my stumps too. He did it the same day and was super helpful with suggestions for future sprout management. Very reasonable with pricing especially in light of how big these things were. I will 100% call him again for future projects.

Buckhout's removed four trees for me and handled it all in one day. Mr. Buckhout arrived on time and took care not to damage the grass with his equipment. I was very happy with the work; when he finished, you honestly would never know he had been there, it was incredible. Would I recommend Buckhout's tree removal? Absolutely. I'll probably need more work in the future, and I will only use this company. The price was very fair, and the work was done professionally.

Since beginning work with Leigh Buckhout he has completed multiple projects on my property. They have included: - Removing 5 trees and stump grinding - Removing concrete debris from my yard - Trucking in a load of dirt, back filling previously completed concrete projects, filling in a hole left by a crushed septic tank, and leveling other areas of the yard The trees in my yard were in bad repair. I bought my flip home in 12/21. Very little maintenance or repair had been done to the outside of my property before purchase. The two trees that posed the greatest risk to my and my neighbor's properties were one that was rotting from the inside out over four sheds and two fences and another that had a large rotting branch over my house. For the latter, Leigh had to climb and rig nearby trees to set up his systems for removal. When doing so he intentionally preserved the health of the trees that weren't being removed (not using spikes, which would punch holes in the trunks). A line system was used to lower pieces so they would not damage nearby trees and structures. Leigh ground the stumps. They were completed flawlessly. It is hard to identify where the trees originally stood. The same quality of work was present with the debris removal, back filling, and leveling work. I have included pictures of the projects below. Some of these were taken by Leigh. He showed them to me when reviewing work that had been performed after each project. Others I took myself. I would highly suggest Leigh for any of the services described above. I won't be working with anyone else. Of all my home renovation projects he has been the best contractor to work with (by far).

Buckhout Tree Service is by far the most fairly priced, professional, and reliable tree service you're going to find in Greenville. Leigh has always been straightforward, prompt, and informative in my exchanges with him and his company. He does exactly what he says he's going to do and takes the time to explain why and how he's going to approach it. Seldom do you find those qualities these days. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of a professional arborist.

I am very happy with the services provided by Buckhout Inc. I had a large amount of concrete, tree, stump, and other yard waste debris that was pushed back into the wood line of my property that the builder who built my house shoved in that area. Being that it was such an eyesore, I decided I wanted to do something about it, so I went back initially with the intent of clearing out, all of the debris, myself with shovels, axes, chainsaws, and wheel barrel. After diving into the amount of debris, I realized I wouldn’t be able to do this by those methods myself. After contacting Mr. Buckhout, he came out very rapidly assessed the work that needed to be done and quoted me a price later that night. He came out to perform the job shortly there after, and it took him only one day! After that one day, he hauled off two large trailer, loads full of debris, and left the property in the tree line landscaped and looking wonderful. I’m very happy with the services provided by Buckhout Inc, and highly recommend them and the services they provide.
