THIS is a gem of a company on Thumbtack! We used this platform as first time clients with Betterment Tree Health Care. What began as a small project, a 6-Pygmy Palm Tree removal, ultimately resulted in a front and back MAJOR garden overhaul. ENCHANTING!!! Hernan- the highly talented arborist + owner, was simply delightful to work with + so was his team. He curated our entire space with areas that provided privacy, beauty, whimsy, color, texture + a most inviting, cozy environment. Very pleased with their knowledge of our trees and best way to trim. We have not had professional arborists work on these trees. Hernan could ID each tree and best care. Even gave advice on smaller trees in our yard. The trees looks great and not traumatized like previous so called arborists, we’ve used in the past. Will use them again and would recommend!

We had a silk floss tree that was dying. My husband contacted Betterment Tree Care, and the owner of the company, Hernan Gonzalez, came out to do an assessment. We were very impressed with his expertise and willingness to explain things in detail to us. Hernan gave us some great suggestions of how to improve our yard, and we hired him to do the work. Hernan and his team arrived on time, and they never stopped working. What he estimated would to take two days was completed in one. I commend them for their work ethic. They removed the silk floss tree and replaced it with some Indian laurel fig trees. They also did lots of thinning and balancing of trees, trimming bushes, lots of clean-up and adjusted the sprinklers. What a difference a day makes! Our yard has never looked better. We enthusiastically endorse Betterment Tree Care.

Hernan was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He’s easy to work with and shows up when he says he will. I had him trim a few citrus trees and remove a few large palm trees. Everything was done so clean and professionally! I liked his service so much I had him come back and plant a couple new trees. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone.

Betterment did a very good job trimming our trees. Numerous podacarpus, two orange trees, one avocado, and an olive tree. Also removed a diseased sycamore. The owner, Hernan is knowledgeable and friendly and he and his crew worked efficiently and safely.
