A few weeks ago, ArborPro’s skilled team of certified arborists completed the careful removal of three towering, aging trees—each over 80 feet tall—and performed precision forest mulching across 1.5 acres of dense, overgrown understory in what will become the heart of our agroforestry system. This wasn’t just tree work. It was the first deliberate step in transforming an untended woodland into a thriving, layered ecosystem—one designed for native fruit, nut, mushroom, herb, and pollinator species to grow in harmony. The crew approached every cut with thoughtfulness. They preserved legacy oaks and hickories, respected the slope and water flow of the land, and left behind a beautifully textured mulch layer that now nourishes the very soil we’ll build upon. We’re incredibly grateful for the fine craftsmanship, safety-first mindset, and deep ecological respect this crew brought to our land. Because of their work, our new farm is now one giant step closer to becoming a living, breathing example of regenerative agriculture in King George County.

I recently had some tree work done by the team of Kyle and Brian of Arbor Pro. Everything from start to finish was excellent. I had two large trees that were completely dead near the front of the house that needed to come down. I was amazed by the equipment the team used to cut each tree, stack it in an area where it could be easily removed for shredding without disturbing my flower garden that was directly in front of the two trees. I had a third tree that was out towards the road and again that was taken down without damaging any of the other trees around it and stacked where it could be easily put in the shredder. Besides being polite and courteous, the team did a great job of cleaning up branches and other debris that fell as part of taking down the trees. I highly recommend Arbor Pro, if you have an occasion to have any tree work done.
