Excellent work! Very thorough and timely with large tree removal. Removed a 60 year old Aleppo pine from side yard. Price was very reasonable and the team did great!
Was scheduled between 10:30-2:30 however the crew arrived at 7 am. They came through the gate and started working. Luckily my dog didn't go out the doggie door. Otherwise the crew did a good job.
The entire team showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently to remove my 27 years old Turkey foot bottle tree and grind down the stump. Then took away all traces of my tree and leaves and raked the rocks back into place. Everything was left like it was never there. Great work. I highly recommend Arbor Barber for all your tree work.
Eddy and his crew showed up early & got to work immediately. The crew was very respectful & very knowledgeable. After the trimming, they cleaned up very quickly and left the backyard in better condition than what it was. 10/10 would recommend!
**Edit** - Wanted to update my review to reflect that the company used to be called Javelina and is now Arbor Barber. Also note the company’s reply to this review - never stating that they would make an attempt to fix the issue, which they did not, just that they will do better next time. Keep that in mind if you consider working with them and things go wrong for you. Really displeased with my experience having a Pine tree removed from Arbor Barber. When talking with Jason I was told the tree would be removed, stump ground and mess cleaned up. You can look at the pictures to see if that is a reasonable expectation for what having the mess cleaned up should look like. For reference, my nextdoor neighbor also had a Pine removed a few months back for a comparable price and their yard was spotless after the tree removal and grinding. There were a couple other things that happened as well, one being during the pine removal process there must have been a branch that fell on my green shrub that is situated near where the pine was. In one of the pictures you can see the right side of the bush having a gap and being flattened down a bit. When I looked at it closer, after they had left, there was also a broken branch still stuck in the bush that you could tell was freshly damaged so it did happen during the Pine removal. It bothered me that nothing was said to me about this damage and I didn't notice it until they had left. Then the day of the stump grind came and it was confusing and ultimately disappointing. For clarity, the way the whole removal process was presented to me, even on the receipt, was one price for all 3 things to occur (tree removal, stump grind and mess clean up). But when the guy came to do the stump grind he started trying to negotiate the price of the stump grind with me and negotiate how much work he would actually do on the stump grind. I told him this was supposed to be included in the price I pay Javelina, at which point he made a call to someone (assuming Javelina) then just got to work. I didn't expect at all to have to negotiate how much work he would do, nor for there to be a huge mess when he left as it wasn't conveyed to me in my initial conversations with Jason/Arbor Barberthat it would be this way. If the intent from the beginning was to only remove the tree branches, and leave the grind mess, I feel the way everything was communicated and presented to me was done so in a misleading way as I never once thought anything other than to expect all the mess to be gone based on what was communicated. It’s also disappointing that after making Jason aware of the mess left by the grinder no effort was made to clean it up. Overall, based on how it all went and the final mess that is still left for me to deal with, I'm not too happy about it at all and couldn't recommend their services.
