We called for a quote and John came out the same day. He gave us a fair price and began work the same week. He was prompt, efficient, respectful, and reliable. He helped us assess another tree near our property and find the most cost effective way to handle it. I highly recommend this local business! Hardworking men who are enjoyable to work with!
Had four of our trees trimmed back and pruned, they did a great job. Got the quote from John on a Tuesday and the 4 workers arrived promptly on Thursday to do the work. Very good communication, not afraid to ask questions to clarify what we wanted done. This is the 2nd time I've used 520 Tree Service, plan to use them next time our trees need from trimming.
520 Tree Service was amazing!! In the last storm my huge saguaro decided to dive into my pool. Something that nobody ever saw before. John and his crew were amazing and removed it quickly from my pool and cleaned everything like it never happened. I highly recommend them!!!
We had a huge limb break, and was hanging over our house. Called 520 Tree Service on a Saturday late afternoon. Responded and came outright away. Secured the limb , and then removed it next morning. Decided to remove the tree since part of it was still over the house. Came back with the crane 2 days later and removed it. They did a great job, no mess, reasonable, and saved us from a disaster. Thanks John and his crew for a great job. Highly recommend.
Negligent and harmful to wildlife. 520 Tree Service was hired by my landlord to trim trees on our property in late May — during peak nesting season. I was told a pre-inspection would be done beforehand to assess the tree, but I did not observe any inspection take place on the scheduled day. After the trimming, we discovered that an active mourning dove nest had been destroyed. Two baby birds were found on the ground — one was already dead, and the other died shortly after despite our care. The mother bird stayed nearby on the ground, visibly distressed. Mourning doves are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and disturbing an active nest is illegal. This incident was completely preventable had the company followed basic wildlife safety procedures. Even if contracted by a third party, tree companies have a legal and ethical responsibility to avoid harming protected wildlife. This was a careless and distressing outcome that should never have happened. I hope this company reflects on the harm caused and improves its practices to avoid future violations.
