The team was great! They are hard working, conscientious, and really talented at what they do. They're also very kind, answered our various questions, explained things... all around great guys and interesting for us to watch them tackle some of the bigger trees. We will definitely keep YFR in mind for future jobs.

Matt and his crew are such a pleasure to work with. We live on three flat, forested acres purchased in 2019, and they’ve been an integral part of our stewardship of it over the last 6 years. We’ve had YFR up many times. We interviewed lots of arborists/tree services, and his vibe and approach immediately resonated with ours — they were clearly the best choice for us. Their initial help to clear and masticate decades of overgrowth on the entire property really opened up our little forest. They’ve returned many times since to fell trees, clear brush, and reassess along the way, and we’ve slowly shaped the land to suit our needs while ensuring the land is healthy and thriving. What’s been great about our ongoing relationship with YFR is Matt’s guidance on longterm maintenance. He’s helped us prioritize our efforts, and always finds creative ways to stay within our budget for each project. He and his crew are always professional, friendly, and clearly skilled at their respective roles, and they always go above and beyond what’s expected. I’m always impressed by their efficiency and precision, especially the last tree they fell right next to our house: it landed safely within a few feet of the buildings it was near! Can’t recommend them enough, plus they’ve got some cool merch you might be able to convince them to throw in for free 😏

We could not have made a better choice than YFR Tree & Land Management for clearing our property of a Scotch Broom infestation and some dead-and-down large woody debris which represented a major fire hazard. Matt & Jen are both very knowledgeable and professional. A very reasonable estimate was given following initial telephone conversations and a site visit. Matt's completion of the work project resulted in a very clean forested landscape. We are very satisfied with the entire experience of service by Matt & Jenn at YFR Tree & Land Management. We will not hesitate to contact them for any future landscape clearing needs.

YFR was great to work with and was able to do more each day than discussed. Matt understood what was needed and what would make our land look good. I look forward to using YFR again next year to get more done.

The YFR crew did a wonderful job and I’m really happy with the results! It took two days to get through all the work that needed to be done and everyone was kind and professional throughout. While they were cutting down about a quarter acre of blackberry brambles they found a bird nest with eggs in it and left that little patch with the nest alone. It’s such a small act of compassion but it helps to restore a little bit of my faith in humanity.
