I highly recommend Matt Schrock and Woodlawn. Matt worked collaboratively with me to develop a plan for some dying tree and stump removals and to trim and treat some evergreens. He’s old school- no lift or bucket truck. Just a man with a rope and a willingness to climb to get it all done. Ok, he had a tractor and other large equipment too to help, plus his hardworking sons. Always professional, i’ve had them several times now and every time they have always done an excellent job cleaning up after their job. Matt and his crew recently cleaned up a large, storm-damaged white pine in my back yard and removed a dying sweet gum. They showed up as promised, cut up and removed the trees efficiently, and cleaned up before they left. They work hard, but always safely. Matt is a trained arborist who will provide an honest assessment of your trees. He has been keeping my many hemlocks lush and green for many years.
