I'm very happy with the work Wilcox did for me, removing 6 large trees that were hazardous. A professional team who were efficient, neat, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The price was quite reasonable for the amount of work I had done and the quality of the work. I have another appointment with them for more work.

We recently hired Wilcox Tree Experts to remove a very large and very dead ash tree from our front yard, along with two smaller ones in the backyard. Their tree crew arrived right on time and dead an excellent job. They took extensive precautions to protect the lawn and left our property in great shape, including removal of the tree sections and stump grinding. The price was reasonable as well. We highly recommend Wilcox Tree Experts for tree removal!

After over 5 years of regular service, I will no longer be using Wilcox Tree Experts. During service this past spring, the crew drove a large lift onto my property, which was not discussed with me and without protecting my lawn or driveway. The lift damaged the stone border on my driveway and compacted large sections of my lawn. Luckily, I don’t believe my leaching field was damaged despite the lawn above it being heavily compacted. When I raised this with the owner, he became combative and told me my concerns were “nothing” – that the lawn compaction would “fix itself” and my driveway was damaged because it was constructed “wrong” by someone who “didn’t know what they were doing”. The call ended without a resolution. Shortly after the first call, I called their office to cancel all future treatments at my property. During that call, the owner did offer to come back and fix the issues and, as a gesture, he offered to blow out my gardens and remove a pile of garden trimmings I had. The repair of the cobblestones was fine – not perfect but good enough to move on from. The deep indents and compaction in the lawn remain – now several months later – and will require me to relevel the yard this fall. He did remove the pile of the trimmings, but the gardens weren’t really blown out. While I appreciate him returning to address the issues, I still have a damaged lawn that will require more work to repair. I think the Wilcox crew has done good work pruning, which is why I am giving them two stars. However, for the prices they charge, I expected them to protect the property from damage and, certainly, fix obvious damage without the customer having to raise it first. Ultimately, I could have moved past all of this given the previous years of good work, however, given how the owner reacted and spoke when I raised my concerns, I will no longer be using them.

The Wilcox Tree Experts are superior in their field. At every point of contact a team member was delightful to work with. There was no aspect of this service that was stressful or inconvenient. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for true professionals and value in every dollar spent. Thank you, Wilcox Tree Experts.

We had four trees removed via crane and the stumps ground. Wilcox was on time, polite, efficient and left our yard immaculate. We were very happy with the work.
