Virginia Tree Specialist

A few months ago we had a tree on a joint property line taken down for disease. The other property owner had been using Patrick and his crew for all of his jobs so we trusted him and were so glad we did. The tree was removed, the stump ground, and except for the saw dust around the stump we would’ve never known they were there! It was close quarters too! Right in between two buildings! So when we needed a tree removed on our own property we were glad to call Patrick again! He came out, gave a good quote, and then exceeded all expectations! REALLY exceeded expectations! He was kind and funny and thoughtful. He was hands on throughout the whole job and checked in about all kinds of details along the way! He even saved our stump and suggested we position it to use as a table! He placed it perfectly and made it look excellent and we LOVE it. They cleaned up so well around the job site again! His crew even bucked a bunch of our oak trees limbs so we could cut them later for firewood! They even stacked it all right where I asked. We were sad to see this big beautiful almost 200 year old white oak go… but Patrick was able to cut us some really nice chunks to mill ourselves. We also ended up with a really nice mulch pile! His main bucket guy Jamie was also excellent! Watching him work was amazing and I felt really confident my house and the little building right next to the tree were safe! We have some more tree work to do in the next year and we will absolutely be calling Patrick and his crew again! A+++++ business!

Patrick and crew have been there for us for decades, for emergencies and big clearing projects and everything in between. We have a 500-acre farm with lots of old houses and. outbuildings—Patrick has gotten us out of many a jam. (See pics below of a massive dead 150-yo oak we had to take down this spring. Not one leaf on the neighboring boxbushes was disturbed. Amazing.) They are kind, efficient, and reasonably priced. When a job requires some strategy, they’ll walk you through their process. Had major clean up done after the 2022 winter blizzard damaged many of our evergreens. Had a 120ft Poplar by the house removed and 2 hickory trees trimmed. Patrick gave us the initial inspection and Alyssa helped coordinate. Kevin came out 1st day of major work and then Mike came back to run stump grinding and move the wood. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and no BS. Strongly recommend. Very genuine group that took very good care of our property. The crews pulled along trash cans and removed all scraps from our yard.
