I had a tree fall thru my fence unto my neighbors roof during that storm in May. Having only lived here for a few months and never going through something like this was pretty stressful. I called Vanderkooi Tree Service and they came out same day to take care of it. My neighbor was also on board with them to do the work. What a great job the crew did of removal and cleanup! It was the talk of the neighborhood seeing all the trucks and equipment taking care of the new girl in town. Hunter has been more than understanding and patient while I had insurance claim issues for 4 months. He has shown extreme professionalism and I highly recommend his company for your tree needs. It began with the estimator who was very professional and listened to what we had in mind. He offered good suggestions and the quote was thorough and itemized. The workers on site were great. After beginning in the morning they continued throughout the day. It was a large job and they worked very hard to get it done in a timely fashion. Any questions we had were answered and they did a great job of cleaning up. We would highly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Vanderkooi Tree and would use them again in an instant. They removed a very large oak tree in my front yard, near power lines, and on a high traffic street. The diameter (not circumference) of the base of the tree at ground level after it was cut was just under 4 feet! Conscientious work and they guys were friendly. They worked hard from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm never taking a single break, not even for lunch. They worked safely, considering their next cut carefully. They were always cleaning up the limb debris throughout the day and they left my yard in exceptionally clean condition. You can barely tell equipment had been on my grass. I have a 1-year old driveway and I was concerned about the weight of the equipment and the dropping of limbs causing damage, but they took this into consideration using plywood, other rubber mats, and eased limbs down on ropes. I couldn't be more pleased. Don't hesitate to use Vanderkooi Tree!

So impressed with their team. They took on a really scary, HUGE, rotten tree that quite a few other companies just couldn’t. Their communication was great through the whole process. They not only removed the tree but took care of the stump, removed all debris and filled in the whole and areas of my yard that took a beating from machinery with fresh topsoil. It’s all ready for fresh grass seed now. They really took great care in the clean up process and I’m very grateful for their attention to detail. This was an BIG job. At only 9 feet from my house, it took some serious skill to dismantle this hollow monster. They even reset the pavers of my walkway that had lifted due to the tree roots as it grew over the years. I mean wow. Completely exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY recommend Vanderkooi Tree services.
