Our Neighborhood Association in Florence had 9 Leyland Cypress trees that were so overgrown they encroached the main street and our neighborhood streets and sidewalk. We asked V-Kleys Tree Service for an estimate to trim them back. I left a voicemail in the morning, within a couple hours, I received a return call from Nick and an appointment was set to meet with him at the site the next morning. He showed up exactly on time. He explained so much about these trees and showed me exactly how he would trim them back for us and gave me a very competitive bid right then. Our HOA board accepted his bid and he set up a day and time to trim. His team and equipment showed up perfectly on time and he did a fantastic job trimming the trees as stated, cleaned up perfectly where you couldn't even tell they were ever there, even though there was almost a full truckload of huge branches taken down. His professionalism, knowledge of the business as well as each species of trees, and overall friendly personality takes his business to a new level. I would highly recommend Nick with V-Kleys to absolutely anyone who needs tree trimming at a fair price to a very responsible and capable company to handle it.

Nick and his crew took down 15 trees from our property at a very reasonable price. 12 of the trees were wax myrtles that had been planted in the wrong place many years ago. The wax myrtles contributed to the strong mold and mildew presence in a narrow 12 x 40 ft section of the yard. The odor and dampness is now gone. We also had them take down an beautiful old Japanese Maple that had not been cared for properly over the years and was in danger of falling on the house. And two trees that were growing over our fence and into the neighbor's yard were also removed. Nick recommended a local man to grind the stumps and he did a quick, fantastic job as well. Nick and his guys showed up on time and did a fantastic job of taking down three tall, leaning pines away from the roof of our place. Trimmed back three others, and cleaned up before leaving. They were prompt at getting our tree needs taken care of too. Didn't have to wait weeks. Very reasonably-priced, professional, and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.

These guys were great. They were working on a neighbor's downed trees, so my husband called the number on the truck . The boss was there so he came right over to check out our damage. We had a huge branch over our house ready to come down next big wind. We'd been trying since the big freak storm came through cedar flat. We were told sorry backed up til at least June by all. Nick came and looked at our plight. And said I'll have my guys over as soon we're finished at your neighbors. Within 2 hrs those branches over our house were a thing of the past. Thank you so much. It was a great experience with this company. We were so happy with their job. We sent them away with fresh baked brownies, and a nice tip for their pocket. We hired V-Kley's to remove a row of large holly trees along the property boundary - several upper branches hanging over the neighbors' house. Nick competently assessed the problem, quoted a fair price, and fit us into his busy summer schedule. The crew safely removed the trees, chipped and cleaned up the site, including the neighbor's side. We will be utilizing V-Kley's for our future needs. Thank you Nick and crew!
