Trees R Us professionally removed a nightmare 110', very dead, oak tree with huge dead limbs overhanging a two story house. The tree trunk was right next to the house, a few feet away from an upstairs balcony. Trees R Us had exactly the right equipment for the job...a small and maneuverable, remote controlled spider lift. I ended up with about 8-10 estimates, and based on the size, location, and very deadness of the tree, several tree companies waved off on the job because they didn't have the equipment, or thought it was too dangerous. The Trees R Us 8-person crew showed up on schedule, on time. They cut the tree down, with no damage to the property. The crew worked hard and efficiently, sawing the downed tree trunk and limbs, and moving them as promised. They completed the entire job, including a very thorough clean-up, in just over 3 hours. I've had several large trees removed over the years, and Trees R Us is by far the most professional tree service company I've seen - highly, highly, highly recommend.

Trees R Us is a wonderful tree removal company and I would highly recommend them. Their team works like a well oiled machine and were able to take down a large pine tree that had been hit by lightning in a matter of several hours. They took extreme care in making sure the property was protected and that all debris was removed. My parents had always spoken highly of Bud, the owner, so when I moved back to Newport News I started using his tree service and now would not use any other tree service other than Trees R Us. I am editing this review to mention Tracy who answers the phone and calls regarding scheduling, she has been very professional/responsive and helpful providing excellent customer service. Had a large pine hit by lightning that was in a tricky location near utility services. Company was fabulous to work with — communications were great, crew was fantastic working quickly and safely, equipment was impressive for dropping the tree and stump grinding, cleanup was thorough. Obviously a company focused on customer service and getting the job done right! Highly recommend them for any tree services.

This company came out and did the job fast. Everyone in their crew worked hard and as a team. The work was clean and I was very pleased as a customer. I would definitely recommend using this tree service. I feel their prices are prices for every day working people. Give them a try, I will be using them in the future.
