James and his team were great! After getting a great quote, I had 3 large trees removed, 2 of which were near the house. They were professional in every aspect and were able to handle this big job. Today, they returned the following day after contacting James to cut up a tree that had blown down during a recent windstorm. Quick service! I don't hesitate contacting them when I need any tree work done at a fair price.

I needed a very large, old willow oak removed from my backyard. I got three quotes from local tree companies. James Terry was the last to bid and was referred by a friend. I have the chance to lower bid to get the job and he did. We agreed on a deposit payment, a crane payment, and a final payment. He was two days late due to work on another job. He had his crew come to clear a path for the crane. They cut several branches, with approval, from neighbor’s tree. His crew left a large pile of branches in their yard and left without saying a word. When they came back the following week, the crane operator was fired by the climber for “unsafe decisions”. When the crane left my neighbors driveway, they knocked down their retaining wall. They couldn’t get a crane back out the following day, so they had to reschedule for the following week. The next trip, the crane operator backed into my neighbors guest house. That crane operator was fired and the owner came out several hours later. I agreed to have the power cut off from my house overnight if they would work late and start early the following day. We came by the house at 4:45 and they were all gone with a huge pile of wood in both the front and backyard. That night James promised me his crew would be out “first thing”. No one ever showed up. James offered to have some of his crew come out that Saturday, but I told him he’d have to finish up the following week. He offered to refund the money I had paid him because of horrible the experience had been. I told him to get all the branches out of my yard so my kids could enjoy the yard and I’d let him know. He followed up after the July 4th break and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted my money back. That’s the last I’ve heard from him. No one answers at his office, his work cell, or his personal cell phone I drove to the address listed for his business and it wasn’t there. I contacted the landlord and he said he’d never heard of or seen his sign up at the property. This guy is an absolute con artist. He’s super friendly and polite and talks about his family run business, but he just keeps scamming people. I should’ve paid more attention to the negative reviews. This has been an absolute nightmare.

DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL THEY ARE 100% COMPLETE AND YOU INSPECT EVERYTHING! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I used treecare llc based on a referral from a coworker. They did a good job for them. They were prompt and responsive until I made the mistake of paying him for the cutting and removal. I knew they had alot of cleanup and still had to grind all the stumps. But I thought he'd done a good job so far so I trusted him. He said he'd be back in a few days when it dried out(we did have alot of rain) A couple days after they left I noticed damage to my shed roof and asked James about it. He said he would ask his crew. That's the last response I've had. Text and call multiple times to see when he's coming to clean up and grind stumps.... crickets. I've also noticed where they damaged my edging and covered it with debris.Just do what you say you'll do.

A couple Tree Service Companies had already bid on removing my 300 year old Oak from my side porch to start next week. Tree care bid with a start date of that afternoon and had everything done the next morning. James, the owner, isn't afraid to make it happen as well as working his butt off to finish a well done job, reasonably priced. Thank you and your crew, James Terry!!!!

Let me start by saying that I've given this company numerous opportunity to rectify the issue and they haven't! They've taken my money and ran without completing the job. I'm not the person to throw unnecessary jabs at a company service but this was blatant dishonesty and bad service. I got a big oak tree removed by this company back on November 3rd. I will say they did a great job removing and with the disposal of the tree. I work long hours throughout day M-F, so I wasn't there to monitor work in person. During the process, I interacted with James T., who at the time, was very friendly and stayed in contact with me throughout the process. He even sent pictures throughout the day of the tree being removed. I trusted in him from the start. He gave me a really competitive fair price I couldn't turn down. He gave me a story in the beginning of his company being family owned and passed down from previous generation and how they take pride in great service and affordable fair prices. Well, long story short, they removed tree and he told me they'll be back a week later to remove the stump. He asked for payment for tree removal and said he'll collect fee for stump grind once completed. I didn't hesitate to pay. Well, someone did come back 5 days later. Again, I'm working 12 hour days, so I wasn't there to monitor. He sent pic (which is below text), and from a distance on my phone, looked as if job was well done. Again, without hesitation, I paid him the remaining balance for the removal of stump. I didn't find out to about a week later that the stump wasn't nowhere removed, and that he deceived me through pic via text. The other pic below is what was found after removing all the mulch from around stump in their effort of deception. I called James and took pictures of the incomplete job. He was of course slow to respond but he finally did the next day and told me he'll get it taken care of. Another week went by and I text him again. Couple days went by and I finally receive text from James saying he'll be there before end of week. He never came. I even cut him some slack because it was week of Thanksgiving and didn't bother him following week. I decided to call week after Thanksgiving. No answer. 👎🏽. I called week after. No answer. I left messages trying to be nice as well as messages showing my displeasure. No answer. For a company that's suppose to be family owned and care about the customer, this company SUCK AND WILL SUCK you in until they get your business and after that, there better not be any issues. They won't be as friendly if the job is incomplete and they have your money. It's about to be the first of 2024. 2 mos and there still ignoring me. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
