Paul (owner and registered arborist) and his crew did an excellent job thinning my Magnolia tree and pruning several citrus trees to improve fruit quality. His climbers are highly experienced and make every effort to protect your landscaping and buildings while working. The work was done efficiently, and the crew was very professional, leaving no cuttings behind. Reasonably priced.

My mom was in need of having a fruitless olive tree in her backyard trimmed-it had many dead branches (including some on the roof of the house), she also a needed a diseased Meyer lemon tree removed. The olive tree had previously been trimmed by somebody else several years ago and we were all extremely disappointed by the work and apparent lack of knowledge of how to properly trim the tree. After doing research we chose the Tree Barber. A call was made and an appointment set with Luke Rider to provide an estimate. A few days later, he arrived and explained to my mom what needed to be done and he gave her an estimate including clean up and hauling away the branches along with the diseased lemon tree. He also gave her an estimate for trimming the 2 liquid amber trees in the front yard-which he said should be done in the fall. Both estimates seemed quite fair and a week or so later the team arrived to do the work. A final inspection of the job was done by Paul Rider. All services were finished quickly and well done from estimate to trimming to clean up!!!! We would highly recommend them to anyone.

What can I say? Just WOW! No one else will touch my trees again except Tree Barber! About a year and a half ago, I hired a tree trimming company that advertised as having an “arborist” on staff. When they came out to give me an estimate, I asked for the arborist and was told two companies were “merging” and the other company has the arborist who holds the license and that “he” (the guy that came out) was in the process of getting a license. I was assured that the trimmers were trained by an arborist and that the arborist would be available on the day of the work. So, I went over the work order with him which included cutting back an avocado tree. I won’t go through it all here, but it was clear this company did not confer with an arborist, rather lied to me to get the job. I cried after looking at the butchery of my trees and bushes after they left. They also did damage to my pavers. They didn’t bother to cover them as they dropped palm date pods from cutting the palm tree that stained the pavers. Fast forward a year and a half later. I needed my trees and terribly overgrown shrubs (16 ft) trimmed. I dreaded looking for an arborist again due to the last company’s work. Then I came across Tree Barber. I read all the reviews and I was sold; I called and scheduled an appointment to talk about the scope of work. Luke arrived and we walked my property…discussed each tree and shrub along with “my style” (natural look to trimming). He asked a lot of questions and I appreciated the care to detail. He gave me the bid and said the office would be calling to schedule. I expressed my concern due to having a trailer dumped in our driveway for some hauling. He said he would make it work. I received an email regarding a cancelation asking if I would like an earlier date! They came the next day. I was a little nervous due to my past experience with the tree trimmers, but thankfully, this company was legit! They arrived with two large trucks and a chipper. Nothing was hauled away in a trailer, simply done on site and they did a great job cleaning up prior to leaving. The trees and shrubs look BEAUTIFUL, I couldn’t be happier I selected Tree Barber to take care of my trees. Take it from me, don’t let someone snake you into the work. Make sure they are reputable and have a TRUE ARBORIST on staff. Thank you Tree Barber – this tree hugger loves you!

It's hard to resist hiring a company called The Tree Barber. When Paul came over to my house and told me "It looks like your trees need some barbering" I know I choose the right company. I'm impressed with great my palms look now. See the before and after photos attached. I also appreciate Paul's arborist experience and the pointers he gave me for caring for my smaller palm trees as well. Will be happy to hire them again when the big palms need a haircut.
