Nick Travis and team did an awesome job removing some very tall old pines that were close to my house. Their knowledge, skills, attention to safety and work ethic were impressive. Also, they used methods to fell those large trees that took care not to do any damage to my lawn and property. His pricing was more than fair so if you need some trees cut call Nick. You will be happy with the job and more likely than not will make a friend.

Nick did a great job removing a large tree that reached over my house and especially over my neighbors house. On the first visit he gave me more details on what and how was the best way to do this job then others I had contacted. Both of these large limbs it was found had cracks in them, making this job not only difficult but somewhat dangerous also. He is very concerned about everyone's safety and when finished did a good job cleaning up. Replied quickly regarding any questions or issues. Also pleased with the cost. Will call him again if I need more done.

If we could give Travis Tree 100 stars; hands down we would! We had 4 massive trees and a few that needed trimming and boy oh boy what can I say; they are AMAZING. What we thought we needed was not at all what we needed. Everything Nick told us about the trees and what should be done was spot on! Nick said we had carpenter ants and termites and he was so right! If we had only topped the trees there would have been nothing but trouble and what we paid by going with Nick would eventually cost us triple. We were without doubt dealing with a true professional when we hired Nick Travis. They were so professional, from taking down the limbs to the trunks, the stump grinding and the clean up. EVERYTHING was perfection. If you need trees taken down or anything dealing with trees you have to call Nick. He’s your guy and he’ll do exactly what he says he will do. Travis tree is the only tree service we or our family will ever go with!

Wow have the past four days been a whirlwind. I woke up Friday morning finding that a very, very old maple tree had lost about a third of itself, and was now covering my neighbor's entire yard, and this was a tree shared between both of our houses. Travis Tree came out the same day to assess it, and found that it was not in good shape, but also understood the risks for it staying up, and recommended it be removed as soon as possible while also walking through all of the reasoning, and showing me where the issues were. We scheduled the job, proof of insurance was delivered prior, and was completed on the following Tuesday. They earned every penny. From storms the night before, they arrived on site at around 7:30, and toiled nonstop for nearly 14 hours. This was a behemoth of a tree, standing at around 120ft tall, and they handled it methodically, safely, and left everything much better than they found it. To those ever questioning the cost of tree removal, I challenge you to watch something like this. Its awe-inspiring the amount of effort and care that goes into something like this, especially while threading the needle between houses. If I could ever leave more than a 5-star review, this would be one of those cases. They're passionate about doing this right, and you can really see that they care.

I had 2 large trees in my front yard growing against my house, one of which was severely overgrown. I needed someone to trim them back. I was referred to Travis tree service by a friend and I was not disappointed. They did a great job. Nick came out to give me an estimate and explained that with my type of tree, trimming it wouldn’t fix the problem. It would continuously need to be trimmed to keep it somewhat under control because it had grown so wild for so long. I’d be paying regularly just to keep it from getting worse. The alternative was to remove it for slightly more than it would cost to trim it. I opted for the removal. He kept me updated on his progress and took pictures to make sure I was happy with the results before he left. He also trimmed my other tree so that it no longer touched my house and made it so it would grow better. Because Nick is an arborist, he was able to thoroughly explain what types of trees I had and how to properly maintain them. He gave me various options on how to manage my situation so I never felt pressured to overspend. It’s obvious he really loves what he does and wants to make sure you’re happy with the results. I would definitely recommend using his company if you have any tree issues.
