Tommy Trees

Tommy gave me a very reasonable price to remove a stump. A 50-year ash had suffered some sort of parasite, I had it removed and needed Tommy Trees to come finish the project. Tommy arrived on the freakin HOTTEST day of the year, unloaded his equipment and got to work. His equipment was immaculate, looked brand-new, but it was 15 years old and Tommy just takes care of it, because it is his livelihood and he is a professional! Anyway, halfway through the job, about a foot down into the stump, the machine jumped. Tommy at first thought a tooth had broken, but it was something else . . . a thick and solid chain was uncovered! It had wrapped itself around the cutting wheel and then seized it. Tommy, all credit to him, did not get upset, he set to freeing the wheel from the chain and I promise you, it was HARD work. In that heat, and it was stuck. Finally freeing it, Tommy completed the job, then raked the wood-chips together, cleaned the area (so I could gather it when the temperature dropped about 20+ degrees). I was so impressed, everything about Tommy, start to finish, was consummate professionalism. Tommy knows his craft and I recommend him, utterly.

For example, they just removed a very old, very dangerous 4-trunk Maple from our property; when the heavy equipment pulled away, you would never even have known they’d been there. Lastly, have you ever spent a season (or more!) burning green firewood or oversized/overpriced logs that left you cursing and cold in the middle of winter? Tommy provides only seasoned hardwoods — Maple, Oak, Birch, Walnut, Alder, and lovely Locust — you know, varieties that produce hypnotic flames. He can also accommodate custom sizes, and specializes in not ripping people off. We consider ourselves very lucky to be on his TT’s delivery list.

Tommy and his team did a phenomenal job helping us with our overgrown yard. His knowledge of which trees to keep or to cut down is extensive. They worked for numerous hours and the whole team was kind and very professional. We’ll definitely be using them in the future for another project. Highly recommend!
