Todd has been fantastic to work with, and he's been very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the process. He gave us a realistic quote for two dead trees in our yard and explained the steps of the process that would have to take place. This helped us coordinate what we needed to do, such as removing obstacles, and they finished the work at a good pace (careful but efficient, the best of both worlds!).

I hired Todd’s Tree Service to remove a few trees from my yard, and they did a fantastic job. The team was professional, showed up on time, and maintained great communication from start to finish. They worked efficiently and left the area spotless—no debris or damage at all. I really appreciated how clean and organized everything was. Recently, we had pine tree (nearly 100ft.) struck by lighting about 30 feet. from the back of our house. It was split down the middle from top to bottom. It was ready to 'go' at anytime! After searching for a few tree services we came upon Todd's and gave a call. After he saw photos of our tree via text, he came with his crane within 20-30 minutes as it was an emergency removal. Todd and his employee worked efficiently with his remote control crane and was able to safely remove the tree. After the weekend his company came back to do the rest of the tree removal and clean up. We were extremely thankful he came to lend us a hand. We recommend his services as they were polite and helpful due to the emergency situation.

9/15 Edit Context: Todd did not reply to a few emails or several texts, which is not shocking. I'll have to have someone come in and fix these pruning issues. I am adjusting the review down to 1/5 stars. I had Todd's company remove four trees from my property and wanted the Maple's behind my house to be pruned. Fast forward to several weeks later and many communications prior to, and Todd isn't responding to my emails about how his company incorrectly pruned the two Maple trees hanging over construction I'm about to have start in the next 5-7 days. A failing point here is the communication between Todd and I, where he said he would trim everything from the bucket truck that they could. Septic and well, and lack of correct equipment were a BIG part of the problem with this job for Todd. I don't think it was properly explained to me what would happen with the pruning - a miscommunication. Since Todd's team finished the job, I have had two additional companies and two arborists come to my house to review the pruning. All called it butchered, bad, or incorrectly done. One Arborist was very upset. Comments I received about the job were branches were incorrectly cut/trimmed - causing damage to the overall tree health. The cut affects the plant's natural shape and promotes suckering and the development of weak branch structures. All of these branches hang over the back of my house. On top of this, his crew left quite a mess in my front yard and had to come back to clean it up. In the end, Todd isn't likely to fix this issue, stiffing me with a bill of $1,200-1,500 to have it pruned correctly. I found out that Todd had been at a recent conference and knows what he did was wrong and that it should be fixed. The Arborist said he didn't colar the tree correctly and that branches overhanging my house will fail in as little as 2 years but probably not more than 5 years. I did mention this is where I am having construction done, right? I love these Maple trees and they provide natural shade and some cooling during the longer, hotter summer months! I am going to attach some pictures of the pruning work. If Todd doesn't fix it, I will have to wait until after all the construction to have it pruned correctly. Fingers crossed. What's even worse is I referred Todd to another neighbor in my neighborhood after we got off to a rough beginning.

This is the second time we have used Todd’s Tree Service in the past 5 years. We are extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them! Both times his team removed over 15+ trees on our property. The quoting process was quick and thorough. The scope of the work and scheduling were well communicated. The tree cutting, removal and cleanup were all remarkably smooth and exceeded expectations. The guys seem to love their job and take pride in their work; they worked so well together as a team. We really appreciated their professionalism and friendliness!
