The Tree People

I would highly recommend The Tree People. They were on time, communicated well—especially Cindy from the office—and left the property clean after the job. While my electrical box on the lamp post was accidentally damaged, I don’t believe they noticed, and it’s an easy fix for me. I got a total of six estimates. Fred from The Tree People was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and gave me the lowest quote of all. One of the other companies gave a much higher estimate. That representative actually suggested I stage a fake insurance claim by saying a limb had fallen on my roof so I could get a new one through insurance. When I ignored that suggestion, he asked who gave me the lowest estimate. Once I told him, he warned me to “beware” of The Tree People and claimed they cut corners. After that, he suddenly offered to lower his price to match theirs. I’m only sharing this so others can be aware of the tactics some companies use. In my experience, The Tree People were honest, professional, and did a great job from start to finish.

The tree people did a great job recently on the removal and stump grinding of two trees, and a trimming of the neighbors tree. They were able to get their equipment in the back yard, and made light work of it all. Fred and Cindy were responsive when we had questions and in scheduling. The crew with Juan was great. All professional, polite, cleaned up after the job, answered any questions we had, and understood any concerns we had. The tree people worked with us on a great deal to get it all done.

We had a great experience with The Tree People! I had gotten several quotes for hauling away debris from a fallen tree and trimming our “out of control” hedges. Ron’s quote was so competitive, I called him back to add tree trimming and the removal of two stumps. The guys did the job in 5 hours and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Thanks Ron!
