I had a tree removed this week from my front yard and Davey was amazing! Steve was the lead crew man and he was awesome!!! Nathan was on the team and Eduardo the 2nd day, and both were so kind. I did not want to remove this tree as it's a large old oak in my front yard, and all three of the men who worked with me were so thoughtful and considerate to listen to my sadness! Not only did they take care of my property, but they cleaned up so well! Even my neighbors were impressed with their clean-up and told me this as well. I can't say enough good things about this company and when I need some more tree work done I will be calling them for sure! And one last point to boot, I live on a dead end street and so many people turn around in my driveway and damage my stone wall. Davey never did that, they always backed down the street with all their trucks! This was a bonus in great etiquette for me:)

Davey Tree did an absolutely outstanding job taking down 2 trees and grinding down the stumps. Every single person on my job was incredibly polite, professional and so very kind! I have had trees taken down before, but no company has even come close to the expertise, communication, responsiveness and pure skill at what they do. They left my yard looking better than before they came! They take pride in their work which is something that you don’t see so much these days. I cannot thank Alec and his team enough! Incredible service and wonderful humans!

I have been a customer of Davey Tree for many years and have always been pleased with the work. This year there was a slight hiccup BUT thanks to the very professional and pleasant Ted Smick it was taken care of personally by him. His work was great and he went out of his way to ask questions and communicate with me, VERY PLSED AND THANK YOU TED!

I was so impressed with the care and expertise of the crew who took down a huge dead elm tree by climbing the tree, sawing pieces then sending them down by hand and ropes. They also protected and saved my beautiful redbud tree that grew beneath the dead elm tree. Amazing! They trimmed several other trees in our yard and treated my thornless Hawthorne tree that has looked so sick the last couple of years. The arborist knew exactly what was wrong and another service man came out and treated the tree for cedar rust. This tree now looks the best it has ever looked! It blossomed and looks so healthy….it’s my favorite tree! So grateful for Davey Tree crew!

Booked an appointment for June 23. The arborist was to look at the diseased tree and let us know if it could be saved or had to be removed. Person who scheduled the appointment said I didn’t have to be home and that the estimate will be emailed to me. Two days later, no email or call so I called them. The person I spoke with claims the arborist did look at the tree. I confirmed my email address with her and waited. Five days later—no email and no call. How long does it take to send a short email saying tree needs to be removed, I’ll get you an estimate in a week? Disappointing business practices for a company with great reviews.
