We had 7 large trees dormant trimmed this spring, and the entire Davey team was outstanding! From the arborist I initially met with to the three crew members who did the actual trimming, everyone was polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to ask detailed questions, listened to all my concerns, and clearly explained their recommendations. What really impressed me was their attention to customer satisfaction—after finishing, they walked me through each tree and made sure I was happy with the results, even offering to make adjustments if needed. Top-notch service all around!

I’ve been using this company for many years for fertilization and pest control. It costs me several hundred dollars per year. They’ve been fine, but others who skip fertilizing their trees and shrubs seem to be doing ok without it. A few years ago, I consulted with their arborist to help me come up with a natural screen between our property and a neighbor’s. The property line is on an easement and is wet on a regular basis. The arborist suggested burning bushes on a raised bed. Trusting his expertise, I spent $2000 on the project. It had to be done twice because the first time the bushes were tiny and began to die off. The second round of bushes have hardly grown and turn yellow and red by June. I feel I was steered in the wrong direction and was wrong to trust the arborist. This year, it’s been as bad as it has ever been. I called them to come take a look. They did and offered to give it a fertilization for free. It did absolutely nothing. They also offered another service for several hundred dollars. I passed and suggested via email that they should be responsible for corrective procedures at no cost. My email was ignored. I am canceling service and looking for another company with more competent arborists.

We have used Davey Tree for years and their service is exceptional. Dean, our arborist, should give classes on how to provide excellent customer service. Both Dean and Marcus (the manager) have provided constructive advice on which trees to prune, cut down, and replace. We recently had two new trees and six new small bushes planted in our yard. Jose and Michael did a great job . And Toni is always helpful and friendly on the phone. I highly recommend them.
