I recently hired Davey Tree for landscaping, which included removing old arbs and planting several new ones. One reason I chose them was their flexible pricing—there’s no minimum dollar requirement, and their rates were very fair. I appreciated that no down payment was needed; they simply billed me after the work was complete. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The sales team, landscape crew, and fertilizer specialists were punctual, professional, and thorough. Cleanup was meticulous, and the office staff as well as on-site crew responded promptly to every question. Davey Tree combines high-quality workmanship with outstanding customer service and clear communication. I’ll definitely return for future landscaping projects and highly recommend them to anyone seeking reliable, affordable service.

Not the cheapest tree service but you get what you pay for. Have used a couple other tree services on my adjoining lot but would not trust them close to home or power lines. Davey is far superior when it comes to safety. They clean up well after the job don't require payment at completion but bill you. If you are quoted a great price from someone else it's a red flag. Ask if they are Insured.

I'm perfectly satisfied with the job the men did. They made their plan to cut the tree with the priority of protecting my house and other landscaping, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were nice to my toddler. I should have known how quickly they'd get the job done, and the price was less than I was expecting.

The Davey team was scheduled to come on Tuesday morning. They arrived on time (10 minutes early in fact), walked the grounds with me to understand my concerns, and then went to work. They pruned 6 trees, removed a few large limbs to allow my smaller trees to get more sun, and promptly cleaned up, after allowing me to inspect the work and ask for any additional cuts I wanted. It only took a couple of hours for them to accomplish all this. They were professional and friendly, like always, and charged a fair price for their work. We had trouble getting contractors interested in our one-tree /Paperbark Maple planting project. Matthew/Davey Tree visited us promptly after our call to review the site. His demeanor is very personal, friendly and professional. He obviously loves his work. Matthew represents the caring customer service that used to be normal. Davey Tree is very fortunate to have Matthew as the face and representative of their company. Matthew was able to schedule our tree planting for the following week. Romero and Kyle, made a great planting team. They handled the tree with care from pick-up at Green Acres-Pontiac through the planting process at our home. Also, very friendly, happy and interactive people who are passionate about their work. A positive reflection on Davey Tree. In the end, everything looked great. The tree looked like it was born there. It was great working with all the Davey Tree staff we interacted with.
