Tackett Tree Service

After calling around and getting multiple estimates, Tackett Tree Service was the most competitive priced company. Josh came out the next day after I contacted the company to give me the estimate which I appreciated since I work a lot and scheduling people to come look at projects can be tricky for me personally. I appreciated the time he gave me to make a decision and after I reached back out to schedule, he was able to work with my schedule and get it all taken care of promptly. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards and I am super happy with the work. I would use Tackett Tree Service again for any future needs.

In the front yard was a large Elm tree that was diseased and needed to be taken down and two overgrown Pear trees that required pruning and shaping. I obtained multiple quotes for the work required which were similar in pricing. However, after meeting with Josh Tackett, Tackett Tree Service was most responsive in providing a reasonable timeframe in which to complete the one day job. And on the day the Tackett Tree Service team pulled up in their vehicles in front of our home, they were ready and well equipped for action. Josh and Wayne shared the tree cutting duties and grinding of the stump and both were highly experienced and professional as they went about their business to completely remove the Elm tree and prune/shape the Pear trees. Safety of workers and protection of property were evident throughout the day as they took down tree branches, limbs, and trunk as required. And their ground support crew of Brian, Chevy, Cody, and Danny were also highly effective and professional in removing all debris from the property and transporting the debris to the chipper for processing or loading on their dump truck as required. The team was well trained and organized and each member executed his role/responsibility to complete the job in a safe and efficient manner. Their final raking and clean up of the work area was icing on the cake. To the entire Tackett Tree Service team, thank you for a job very well done.

Bought firewood several times. Quality of the wood was great for my wood burning stove. Great price and I had it delivered. Referred them to a friend to have two trees trimmed and they were extremely happy with Tackett. Excellent customer service.

Tackett Tree Service removed a magnolia tree and an overgrown lilac bush from my property, including grinding the tree stump. It was an outstanding experience. Both Jay and Josh were friendly, professional, and helpful, and they made it easy to schedule the work. Their team did an outstanding job with a thorough clean up. I could not be happier.
