I had a birch tree that I noticed was cracking at the base and leaning towards the street. A storm rolled through and it was twisting and bending strangely. I called Susquehanna Valley Tree and within 30 minutes of the call they came out to assess the tree. We decided to take the tree down. I was worried about scheduling and I couldn't believe it when he told me they would be able to come out the next morning. The team arrived and in no time had the tree down and chopped up. It was a good thing we took the tree down because a colony of carpenter ants had hollowed out the base (attached photo). I am glad the tree didn't fall during a storm on a car or passerby. The following morning showed up to grind the stump. The price was right and the whole issue was taken care of quickly and professionally. The trio also cleaned up after everything. I will recommend Susquehanna Valley Tree to anyone who asks about tree services. I already plan on using them again this winter for another issue tree on my property.

Yesterday we had Darwin and his crew work on 4 very mature trees On our property. They showed up promptly at the appointment time and worked very hard for the next 3 hours removing dead limbs and shaping the trees. They were very concerned with preserving the health of the trees while beautifying them. I would recommend them to anyone in the Central Pennsylvania area needing their services.

Yesterday, Monday May 6 I had 2 Locust trees and 2 dead Mimosa trees removed from my lot. One of the Locust's was right up against my house and pushing the siding up, this tree was approximately 25 feet tall and was in danger of coming down on my neighbor's house, they took it down with no damage to my house or either of my neighbor's homes. The entire job took 1 hour 15 minutes and that included the cleanup. I highly recommend these guys.
