Splintered Forest Tree Services

We highly suggest using Splintered Forest for all your tree services. I have downed hundreds of trees on my own, but we had a problem tree…a 75’ blue spruce right next (literally touching) our home and leaning over it. I knew it was way to technical for me to handle, so we called the best staffed and equipped tree company in the area. Their trained professionals did a magnificent job, never once touching the home with zip lined crown, branches and trunk sections. They spent their time planning and then diligently working on the tree until it was no longer a hazard. Highly recommended and my kudos to the Huddleston family and staff members.

I am a repeat Splintered Forest customer. I recently asked Splintered Forest to remove 12 large pine trees on our property because of the pine beetle problem in our area. Splintered Forest walked our property and made recommendations on which trees to remove, followed by planned spraying of other trees to suppress the movement of beetles to other healthy trees. Their crew was excellent to work with. They showed up on time and carefully removed the sick trees, 4 of which were directly adjacent to our power line. Highly skilled and supported by some amazing equipment, they removed all the trees and shredded them in their powerful chipper without incident. They were also flexible to work with and were able to remove a few extra trees (at additional cost) that we identified as sick while they were on site. Following the tree removal, they carefully cleaned up, removing slash and leaving our property in excellent condition. If you are looking for highly skilled, very safe team and good value for tree removal, I highly recommend Splintered Forest.

My mom was worried about pine beetles on neighboring properties invading hers and causing lots of property value loss. She was getting all sorts of advice on what the right way to combat them was and how much it was all going to cost. Splintered Forest came out to take a look and reassured her that for her property and trees, what she was already doing (spraying for spruce bud moth around the house) was fine. They stood to make a ton of money but they gave us the truth and saved us a lot of anxiety. I don't know if it will be the same answer on your property, but I do know that I would trust Splintered Forest Tree Service to tell you if it was!

I have been very pleased with every interaction with this company. We needed to perform fire mitigation to secure insurance, and they were able to make it out to the property within the very short window the insurance company gave us to comply. When pine beetles were discovered in a stand of trees on the property, they came out quickly to inspect, then attempted to stop the spread to the rest of the trees. They will be the company I contact for any future issues.
