South Coast Tree Care

We had several damaged, dangerous, and dying trees that needed removal to open up a space for new construction and new healthy trees. We called the number and received a callback within a couple of hours. Ben came by the next day to determine the job extent. He offered great suggestions for the best way to clear the space of old logs, the damaged trees, and old stumps in the ground in addition to other trees in the space that should be removed. He gave a great estimate of the cost of the work. Within a week’s time Ben and Blake arrived and got to work immediately. They were a great team. Professional, skillful, timely, respectful, and highly safety conscious. If there was a question on anything, they asked. I am including before and after photos, and one of them and the extensive equipment brought to the job. It took two days (with very little delay due to a short rain and high winds) for them to take down four large trees, grind stumps and clean up the yard. We asked them to leave wood chips behind for mulch and they spread them all around for us. I highly recommend this team of professionals. We‘ll use them again.

Ben runs a well-oiled machine. He and his crew are professional, diligent and efficient, but also reliable and thorough. And very pleasant to work with. Ben is a knowledgeable certified arborist, but also listens to his clients' needs and requests. We were given a prompt, reasonable quote, and did not have any unexpected additional fees or costs. We had an excellent experience with South Coast Tree Care. We had great (lots of clear, polite texting) communications with Ben-- he and his crew showed up on time, carefully and thoughtfully removed the trees that were leaning towards the house. They were careful to leave minimal tracks in the yard with their tractors and rigs. I was particularly impressed with how well they cleaned everything up before they left. It was like they had not been there at all. No stray branches or wood chips anywhere. They even swept/blew off the sidewalk before they left. It looks great and now we can sleep easily knowing that we won't wake up to a huge tree in our kitchen! (Before and after pics!)
