For many years Levi and Ray, the brothers who own and operate Small Axe Tree Care, have been doing a great job trimming the trees on our extended family properties in Boulder at a very reasonable price. They know what they are doing, they communicate well, they are very professional and friendly, and they always follow through with what they say they will do. They are always available in a reasonable time frame. Highest possible recommendation!

Small Axe Tree Care is the best. Levi showed up on time, discussed the pruning to be done and then worked quickly and (best of all) silently, and exceeded my expectations. Small Axe doesn't use power tools and they haul off all the cut branches - like it never happened. It's a pleasure to work with such knowledgeable and personable guys. HIGHLY recommend.

We've worked with Levi and Ray (Boulder Land and Tree) for a couple of projects now and they've always delivered nicely. First time I contacted them was for some pruning work on a tree in front of our house that had branches scratching the roof. I spoke to Levi on the phone and he suggested I contact the city and that they should take care of it free of charge since it's a public tree. I ended up hiring Boulder Land and Tree because the city wasn't able to schedule the work until 5 months later and because I appreciated their honesty. Since then we've worked with Levi and Ray on multiple projects and plan to do more in the future.
