We live on a hill, on Gun Lake. A lot of the trimming was lakeside in precarious locations. Other work was around power lines Joe & his crew showed up on time and addressed the project at hand. Each crew member knew what their job was and did it. There was no standing around. Upon completion they cleaned up to the point that you hardly knew that they'd been there, except for the improved property appearance. I had two huge cotton woods near my house. They were the biggest trees in my neighborhood. It was leaning toward my house and had to come down. I paid for a complete removal, stump grinding, and cleanup. I got 5 quotes. Shaffer was not the cheapest, but when I asked if they'd match, they did. Then they did wonderful job. Didn't finish the stump grinding, but came back a couple days later and it looks like the trees were never there. Invoice was exactly what the quote was. No fees, no taxes, no other, miscellaneous nonsense! They will have my business for as long as I am in the area. Hands down excellent company to work with.

I would like to thank Joe’s tree service for the excellent work for the job he completed. I appreciate his prompt attention to a dangerous tree he referred to as a widow maker.
