I'm sharing this review with dismay about this company. I had a patio company come install pavers in my backyard and they noticed some of my trees looked pathetic. They suggested the trees might be diseased, so I looked online and called Sav-a-Tree. Their Arborist came and diagnosed my 2 trees have fire blight disease. The suggestion was treatment which I agreed to. It was early Summer, 2025. I was supposed to get 2 treatments, and they were going to treat those 2 trees but also all the landscaping bushes in my back/front yards. First treatment, I lost a lot of leaves on my 2 trees. I thought it was part of the treatment process. Sav-a-tree's SOP is they don't contact you the day before the come for treatment - they just show up. As a dog owner, I like to be notified. 1) as a courtesy to anyone working in my yard, I will pick up my dog's waste so they don't step on landmines and 2) I have had previous technician companies NOT close my gates. Sav-a-tree was one of those companies that did not notify of their treatments. So, this Fall I get a technician with an impromptu visit. My family was home and I wasn't. They called me and asked did I know they were coming and of course, I didn't. My family put the Tech on the phone, and he said he is there to do the service treatment. I thought it was for what I PAID for - those 2 yearly treatments. But no, it wasn't. The tech who JUST showed up and asked do I want the service - I said yes but I was under the impression it was what I paid for. He did a service but not what I wanted. Of course, now I'm being billed for something I originally didn't agree to when I first started a contract with Sav-a-Tree. I have tried calling their office with the result of "someone will call you". I don't get that call. Just an invoice of Past Due and possibility of collection office. To add insult, I am now getting emails for the 2026 tree season. Buy now. You kidding me? No thanks. I think this is a shady service they do - no pun intended.

Nick has done a great job of keeping our 20 year old arborvitae’s alive and looking healthy. All our our neighbors comment on how great they look, that is when they can see us because they surround our patio and are > 25 feet tall now! They are professional arborists and I would recommend them for plant health and lawn care needs

Ash tree has been protected from the emerald ash borer with great success. Dozens of ash trees near me have died, but mine is in great condition because it has received injections of insecticide every other year. Every year kelp fertilizer is injected into the ground around it to keep it in the best possible condition to defend itself against the invasive insect which has killed a very high percentage of ash trees in this area. Mine was "covered with fat, happy buds" this spring when the SavATree forester inspected it. I love the tree, and this care is worth it. It's beautiful, birds love it, it shades the house in the summer and keeps the a/c bills lower. I would have been heartbroken had this huge, lovely tree died, but it has been saved and looks great.

I made an appointment to have my arborvitae trees looked at. It was easy to create the visit for time that works best with my schedule. Evita visited my property and quickly noted the things that need to be done in order to get my trees back to healthy. She has also recommended good practices around my yard to better help other plants and trees. Evita was very knowledgeable and great to communicate with! Although i did not sign up for the offered services as I can do the things myself, I will not hesitate to call SavATree again for a project i cannot handle in the future. Thank you!

We have used their services for over ten years and we are very pleased. They are always on time, quickly do the job, and leave the area clean. Very friendly and courteous employees. We have renewed again for another year. Our grass looks great, no weeds!
