We have used Big Twigs Tree Service on numerous occasions and each time I have been more than happy. My most recent experience was in August 2019 when we experienced very high winds that blew down several of my old trees. A few landed in my neighbors yard and across both of our driveways. I called Jon at Big Twigs and within 2 hours he arrived at my house to access the damage. My neighbors asked me if I was going to call around for pricing and my response was, "No". I trust them and I know that they will do a fantastic job at a reasonable rate. Once again I was impressed at their professionalism and excellent work ethics.

Hiring Jon and the Big Twigs crew was hands down the right decision for tree service at our Royal Oak home. They are professional, very knowledgeable and work with integrity, ensuring it's the proper time of year/temperature before agreeing to prune certain tree species. We had Steve's crew who were awesome; super friendly, helpful and the trimming turned out great, making our yard much cleaner and safe (removed large oak tree branches over our roof and overgrown trees at our back fence line). Jon and Steve's crew at Big Twigs will now be my go-to tree service and I highly recommend them! Also, they have some pretty cool equipment; here are photos of their spider lift and ditch witch. Big Twigs took down a large maple tree in our backyard in June 2019. The pricing and the efficiency of the work were totally fine. They moved very fast and had a ton of guys in their crew. Our only gripe was the damage to the grass that was left behind and some of the carelessness of the crew - like making no effort to avoid carrying large branches through our shrubs. When Big Twigs came over to provide a quote, they never explained that there could be damage to your lawn or shrubs. In fact, they told us they would put down wooden planks to protect the grass which I thought at the time was a selling point that put them over the top. When I called about the damage, the person I spoke to acted like the damage should have been completely expected and it's just part of the job. If Big Twigs would have been more forthcoming about the possibility of damage, then this would not have a left a bad taste in our mouth. They offered me $50 off the total price, but I passed just based on the guy's attitude that he clearly thought I was being ridiculous. I am not saying you shouldn't hire Big Twigs, but I would definitely shop around.

I am very satisfied with Big Twigs having removed a large maple from my yard in tight conditions with many power lines involved. The team was very professional and pleasant, they did exactly as promised. I will recommend their work to you, family and friends when needed.

Big Twigs did an amazing job. They rolled up 1 minute after the quoted time of 8am and got to work very quickly. The whole job took about 3 hours for a very tall tree in Royal Oak that is close to a house. The guys took a lot of care to make sure nothing fell on the structure and did a very thorough clean up. Best of all, the price was very competitive compared to other companies in the area. The gentleman who owns the company is very attentive and made sure all expectations were set on how the process would play out. I would highly recommend .
