I recently hired SavATree to provide year-round care and maintenance for the trees on my property. This includes fertilization, preventive treatment for insects, and tree trimming. I've lost too many trees over the years due to our difficult Colorado growing environment, so I decided it's time I spend a little money annually to protect my investment and ensure my trees stay healthy. SavATree's arborist, Mike, came out for a free consultation. It was immediately clear he is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He was very pleasant and did not use any high-pressure sales tactics. Mike developed a plan for year-round care, which I chose to mostly adopt. Recently a crew came out to trim/prune two of my maple trees. That job is both an art and a science. The science is making proper cuts that promote healthy growth. The art is making it look good, versus a hack job. The crew was very polite and professional and did a superb job! They ensured I was happy with the result before they finished and cleaned up after the job very nicely. Our trees look great and I'll be a customer for life! I would DEFINITELY recommend SavATree to care for your trees.

Last year my wife decided she would like to light up our large Pine tree in the front of the house for the holidays. She spoke to several people and the representative from SavATree basically had the best pitch of how great they could make the tree look and the price was reasonable around $500. She has been looking forward to this all year. In AUG the company offered us a further discount for prepaying and we di in the amount of $458.81. A different representative on the phone also commented how great this was going to look. Fast forward to last week (final site survey before install this week), when another representative comes out and says that this is going to look really bad unless we pay more money ...on the order of almost a factor of ten times more...$4800. The company acknowledges that their representative misrepresented what they were going to provide but see now reason to honor the original effect that we contracted and paid for. They say we wont be happy with that type of light that their representative put in for...I'm no lighting expert and the size of bulbs with technology today seems irrelevant. It also seems irrelevant since they aren't selling us the light but rather borrowing us their lights and gets them back. In essence there shouldn't be an difference in cost stringing a C9 , D4 or whatever they are since they get them back. The effort is putting them up and taking them down. We contracted for a visual effect, not a specific bulb type. They promised a beautiful display for $500, they should deliver that. The lights are temporary and reused, so the cost difference between bulb types is negligible. Installation labor is the real cost, and that was already factored into your prepaid amount. They admitted fault, they should make it right.

Jim Beyer came for a complimentary consultation and did a fantastic job looking at each of our 20 trees, educating us on dealing with any potential issues and advising of available services without any pressure. He loves his job and with 40 years experience was exceptionally knowledgeable, not to mention -a joy to get to know. Highly recommend.
