We were looking for a tree service with credential with an arborist. I called 3 or 4 companies that serviced Gold Canyon. We meet with Joseph Owen. What first impressed me was Joe handed me his business card. Printed under his name is his ISA certified Arborist WE-9442A. What a nice start. Explained our past experience with other tree services. Joe in great detail explained what is needed with our 1 Ironwood, 2 Texas Ebony trees. Joe covered the whole yard in detail and was with me for about 50 minutes to prepare a quote, then he presented the quote and emailed this to us to review. My wife and I discussed and felt we found the right company to trim our 3 trees. Took about 31/2 weeks for scheduling. So this morning we no call in the am or the night before as a reminder. With a class that the crew had to take from management scheduling on the morning of our job. We were delayed in the start time. We are from Il originally and related to Gold Canyon, AZ. In the past back in IL communication with contracted companies is what we were used to. About 20-25 minutes past our arrival start time, Zi texted the called, Joe returned my call within a few minutes. Joe explained the training was mandatory and the instructor went beyond the allotment time, causing the crew to be 2 hours late on the job . What impressed me was the operations manager Joseph Gohl arrived at our front door with the crew apologizing to for the lack of communication with us and reassured us that Joe Owen was on his way. After that discussion was over. Joseph Gojl with the crew leader and myself cover what the quote was written as Joe Owen pre surveyed our yard. Then we were getting back to the front yard, Joe Owen arrived to go over the quote written with the crew leader. We both had to leave the crew to get the job done. My wife arrived back home after a few hours the crew was just finishing up. We are completely satisfied with the work SavaTree did with our trees. I had a combination of palm, fruiting, and flowering trees across my property that were in rough shape due to an install from a prior landscaping company (NOT SavATree). Planting trees is not cheap, so having a mature one die because of improper planting left me desperate to save my remaining mature trees. Joseph Owen provided proactive pruning and plant health care for my property. He recommended treatment with a supersonic jet of air to remove existing soil from the root zone to save my most mature tree. While this was not cheap, the cost of planting mature trees was more expensive. Joe is knowledgable, courteous, and prompt in his engagement. He continues to answer my questions post pruning and will be my go to for an ongoing program. He also identified sooty canker and beetle problem in trees behind my property that I was able to inform my HOA to have treated. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe.

2 guys came out today and I forgot to ask their names but after reviewing the work order and asking me if I had any questions they explained what they were going to do. I only asked them to be sure to do 2 specific tasks, 1) trim branches away grom the house so as not to give roosting birds the place to sit & poop on the roof and 2) save the limb that was ordered to be removed so I can take it and cut into firewood. These workers were thorough, efficient and completed the job in about 1 1/2 hours. Their clean up was well done too!

The entire team at SavATree were excellent! Joe Owen, the certified Arborist, who came out to assess all of my trees was thorough and developed a plan for all of my trees. I have two trees that are at least 15 years old and eight that are only 5 years old. I had all of my 10 trees pruned and I couldn't be happier! The three gentlemen who did the pruning were professional, customer service oriented, and talked me through any questions I had. They did not over-prune, whew! They consulted me and asked questions ensuring my expectations were met. They cleaned the yard so well, nothing was left behind. Two of my trees have a fungus and were treated today. Thank you also Linda for your customer service. I will be using these folks for continued tree care and would certainly recommend SavATree for your tree needs!

I needed my Chinese Elm tree trimmed or thinned or removed if warranted, as I recently lost a large limb in a previous storm. I called SavATree and talked with Joe Owen. He scheduled me for the following week, 27 August for an estimate. Upon his arrival we walked around the tree and much to my surprise he informed me that the tree was in a lot better shape health wise then I thought. He gave me a price quote which I thought to be fair with the amount of work that needed to be done. I decided to take the plunge and have them do the work. The job was scheduled for 3 September at 6am. Joe said he would be there with the crew. Upon the arrival of the crew on 6 September, a bit earlier than 6 am, Joe immediately introduced me to the entire crew that was going to be working on my tree. I couldn’t believe the amount equipment they brought with them. They immediately went about setting up a safety perimeter around the tree and started to work. 1 guy climbed the tree, 1 guy in the bucket truck atop the three, the other 2 guys were on the ground gathering up the debris as it came down. Poetry in motion!!! Once they had trimmed the tree, the team lead, David walked me around and asked what I thought. I never thought with the amount of trimming that was done to the tree that it could possibly look as good as it did. I was 100 percent satisfied with the entire job from start to finish! The tree was saved and made beautiful again!! Prior to them leaving, the entire area was cleaned up to the point that one would ever know that they were there! I was informed that the bucket truck spilled a small amount of diesel fuel from when it was serviced. They immediately spread some material on it to contain and soak it up. David said that their operations manager would be out to take care of the stain in the driveway. Very shortly after they left, Operations Manager, Joseph Gohl arrived and immediately went to work on the diesel stain. He spent a good amount of time getting the stain up. Probably more time than I would have spent on it. I will have them back yearly to keep my Chinese Elm in tip top condition! My hats off to all the people I had contact with from SavATree: ISA Certified Arborist Joe Owen, Team lead David, Crew members Gavin, Jose, and Israel. And Operations Manager, Joseph Gohl. I HIGHLY recommend SavATree for anyone needing the types of services they offer! You will not be disappointed!
