Richard's Tree & Crane Service

Had a large Pin Oak 120+ years removed from back yard in Lakewood. The crown was dying off and worried about kids getting hurt. Have used Richard’s 12 years ago for another Oak removal about same size. Richard’s has the right equipment and knows what needs to be done for a safe job. They are priced accordingly for the job and do fantastic job cleaning up. A passerby could not believe the tree was taken down in 4 hours. This is not a fly by operation. No rental equipment. Everything is theirs and taken care of. The stump grind was more mulch like and not chips. Recommend to anyone who has a Tree or needs a Crane

Not super happy!! Paid 600$ for 2 very small tress to be removed and was told the stumps would be grinded down; then the day of I was told there one an only stump grinding machine wasn’t working and they did not know when they would be getting parts to fix it. Now the area that was supposed to be completely cleared still has two trunks sticking up out of ground and now can’t get gravel in area for parking vehicles! Should I have known this would have been an issue, I would’ve went somewhere else. The gentleman that did come out to do it were super super nice though, very respectful, very professional. Seemed like a great group of guys, no issues there. But i hired the company to do the job completely and it was not. Don’t know if I could recommend.

I am over the moon with the service I received. I was not home upon their arrival. When I returned home an hour later, they already had one out of four large trees removed, and I found the foreman up in a 40' high tree, trimming all the branches inside. He made it beautiful. He did this as if it was his own tree at his own home. This was beyond my expectations. The entire team worked nonstop, cleaned as they went, abd left my yard immaculate. Not easy on my 2 acres. They also removed one additional tree that was dead, and I didn't realize it. EXCELLENT and totally professional. I highly recommend them.

Extremely happy with the service I received. Richard's removed a massive Oak and Pine from my property. The crew worked like a well oiled machine. This was a particularly dangerous job due to the proximity of the power lines and a school in the work zone. But they handled it with no problems. They even returned the next day to repair my neighbors grass which was lightly damaged by one of the tree trunk sections. They are the only tree service I will use. Competitively priced with outstanding service. What more could you ask for?!
