Price's Excavating & Tree Service

The team at Price’s Tree Service is awesome. I called Jason Price to clear a lot of trees bordering my workshop to prevent them from falling on that building in a windstorm (I live in the Camp Creek area). Jason came the day following my call to assess what I wanted and gave me a written estimate which included proof of his business insurance. Following my acceptance of the proposal, the team showed up a few weeks later, which happened to be the day prior to a storm that brought 87 MPH winds to my property. During that visit, they completed about 85% of the planned work. Only one tree remained near the shop which thankfully survived the storm. The team returned a couple of weeks following the storm. Rightfully so, they delayed their return to first take care of people with much greater needs following the back-to-back storms which had rolled through the area. When they returned, they completed all their work leaving the property looking great. Jason’s operation of a skid steer is amazing to watch. He stacked 6’ logs for firewood in a manner making it easy for me to process them, ground a lot of stumps, and spread dirt and wood chips over a large area making formerly useless land a great new work area. After the original work was done, Jason looked at two additional trees that had partially fallen in another area and which were going to be very dangerous to take down. He gave me a very reasonable price to take care of those trees. We agreed and those trees were quickly taken care of. We ended the day looking for a reported cave on the property. We found it, and Jason, a bona fide spelunker, dropped down and explored the cave. I highly recommend Jason and his team. They didn’t just cut and drop the trees, they provided a complete job leaving the property looking great.

Prices Tree Service did an excellent job for us!! Can’ t say enough about what a good job they did! From start to finish they were professional and the clean up was great! We are renovating a farm and building an event venue in Tusculum, and we needed to take down a few dozen trees including some really big ones. Jason was fairly priced, safety conscious, and easy to communicate with. He and his crew did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them!

Jason and his crew did excellent job. They worked quickly on our large job and even did a large amount of brush work for an extremely reasonable rate. The cleanup after was great too! Jason worked really well with us and actually came out twice to do quotes as we changed our mind on the work we wanted done. We highly recommend Jason and will use him in the future.

They showed up on time, took down some very scary trees, and did a great job cleaning up, The cost was quite reasonable and Jason Price was great to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him from what I've seen of his work. Update I just had the second round of trees removed and I wish it was as easy to get other work done. I called Jason and asked him to take down the last of my scary trees, I know it's a busy time for him, but he still did a great job it was safe and professional with a great cleanup.
