We were so happy to find Potomac River Arborists. They have expert arborists who came to examine our beloved and quite large oak tree. Gratefully, they were able to give it a thorough trim so that we could see it remain for some years to come. The tree holds a place in our hearts and is an important habitat in our neighborhood for so many birds and squirrels. My own stepdad was an arborist much of his life, and he would be proud to see this tree grow on! Thank you to the team!
We’ve used Potomac River Arborists for two tree removal jobs and have been very pleased with their service. The price is reasonable and their work is excellent, on time, and very professional. They even agreed to move the heavy trunk remnants for me to save as firewood. Highly recommend.
Potomac River Arborists took care of raising the canopy on this monster tree, and trimming back a bunch of other unruly trees that had gotten out of control. Their prices were very competitive and their arborists very knowledgeble. I felt confident that their work would bring the results I wanted while preserving the welfare of my trees. The team was on time, professional, and they took great care to cleanup and leave my yard spotless. I highly recommend this veteran-run, family owned business.

I have worked with a few different “tree experts” over the past several years to deal with big trees on my property. My recent experience with Potomac River Arborists was the best. Tom and the rest of the crew arrived when they were supposed to, were well-equipped and knew what they were doing to get the job done quickly, and they did a great job tending to my storm-damaged tree. The cost was reasonable and clearly negotiated up front. I expect to be calling them again the next time I need work done on my trees.
