Porterfield Stump and Tree

Simply put, Matt and his crew are the best at what they do. Matt went above and beyond to take care of some worrisome trees and remove some others that I had fall during a storm. They were very fast, tidy, and communication was always perfect. Great owner, great crew, great service! I’d recommend them to anyone.

The rains and storms from last month took down one tree and part of another creating a dangerous situation with part of the tree damaged and hanging down. Today Matthew and his assistant took care of it in 45 minutes! We are truly grateful for the excellent work done by Porterfield Stump and Tree Company!!!

My experience with Porterfield was excellent! They removed 3 pines from our back yard that were surrounded by ornamental trees and plants, and left no damage to anything. Matt explained the process to me upfront so everything was clear, and offered competitive pricing. After we had several days of rain, they postponed their work so as not to damage the grass. Now that they're done, it's like the trees were never there. The picture captures the entire area in which they had to work, which now has three fewer pines in it. I was impressed!

We first used Porterfield Tree Service when we had several older trees near our home which they easily removed. Recently, Matt responded quickly on a holiday weekend after a tree was uprooted uncomfortably close to our storage building during a storm. After evaluating, he assured us that it was not an immediate danger and scheduled removal on the next business day. A very responsive, professional and friendly group! Definitely recommend.
