Phil’s tree service was outstanding from start to finish. Professional and fairly priced. Their work was more of an art and science as they worked exquisitely as a team. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and took care to protect my property. They had the right equipment and number of men to do the job. Responsive and did above and beyond what was agreed. They were in and out by early afternoon -one day! They took out 25 large trees with precision and cleaned up any evidence.., you would never know they were here. It felt like I had special operations at my house. More like watching a symphony. I highly recommend them. Thank you Phil and to all the men for your hard work!

Phil’s Tree Service Seacoast is THE tree service to call when you need pruning and/or tree removal! Phil knows his business, and does a professional job! In two hours his crew set up, cut down three trees, mulched the trees, and, cleaned up! We are so happy with his service and the outstanding service, (Kat), in his office! They are always quick to respond to any questions you may have.

This is my partner writing this review. "It isn't very often that I write a negative review on a local business, but this review is very warranted. I noticed that there are no google reviews regarding cord wood, that is probably not a coincidence. Last year I purchased cord wood from Phils. As I stacked and then spilt the cord wood over the course of the past year I have been getting more and more upset about the quality of the cord wood. I finally had to write this review. The logs (and I mean logs) are extremely large, and a lot of the logs are so gnarly that I cannot split them, even with a maul. Yes, I had to purchase a $65 maul to split the logs. In the 20+ years of splitting wood, I have never had to use a maul. There is just over a third of a cord of logs that I cannot split, even with a maul, and many more were very difficult to split. See attached photos for examples. I just purchased cord wood from another company, and the wood is split perfectly (see attached picture to see the difference between normal split wood and the cord wood from Phils. The huge log in the middle is from Phils. It is huge and so gnarly it cannot be split by even a maul). I would definitely not recommend anyone purchasing cord wood from Phils." Response to owner - this is John. Sue's partner. I do not have, and do not want a google account. What you say is not true. I called the week after delivery and again two weeks later concerning the size and the gnarly-ness of the logs and you stated that it went through a measuring device. BS. Look at the pictures. About 30% of the logs were huge and so gnarly they could not be split with a maul. You state that you would not visit to take a look because you were too busy and Strafford was too far away for a trip such as this. Enough said.

I had a fantastic experience with Phil and his team! They were able to accommodate my tight schedule, and the crew worked quickly, professionally, and efficiently. They went above and beyond — I asked for two additional trees to be removed once they were visible, and they took care of it without missing a beat.
