Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service

Jimmy and the crew did an excellent job trimming our nearly 70 year old honey locust! This is the third time we have used Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and we will have them back again in a year or two. The quality of their work and attention to detail is impeccable and the crew members are always friendly. We highly recommend this company!

We had a yard full of overgrown trees and bushes. The crew from Oregon Woodsmen came out this morning and took care of everything in about three hours — they removed three huge bushes, then trimmed seven or eight trees, shaping them beautifully and getting rid of all the deadwood. They were accommodating, knowledgeable, and super nice, and they cleaned up everything and hauled it away—the price was reasonable, too. I’d recommend them without reservation and will be using them in the future to keep my trees maintained.

The entire team is terrific! After they looked over the huge oak tree they went right to work and you could tell that they had all worked together for some time as no time was wasted. Their man in the tree (who must have been part monkey) wasted no time getting the ropes in place and then their serious work began. Their monkey man seemed to jump from place to place either freeing a load or fastening another piece to come down. I have seen many trees cut down before but never have I seen one that was so well organized. For me and then the neighbors it was like watching poetry in motion and what a delight it was. As the last of the tree was being cut up the stump grinder moved into place and began devouring that 4 foot stump. By the time the grinding was done the others had everything cleaned up. Well darn, the show is over. Also impressive was how carefully they avoided damaging the many flowers and bushes all around that massive oak. Now why can’t all tree companies be this good?

We had several trees removed and a couple tall fir trees cleaned up of widow makers and unhealthy branches. The crew was very efficient and cleaned up afterwards leaving no mess. The bid process, scheduling, and work completed was all a very professional experience. I would highly recommend Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and will have them back if I have any future need for tree services.

My project took 7 weeks from the initial request to completion of the project. It took 31 total emails back and forth to coordinate. It was slightly cheaper than other tree services by $800 dollars for one tree removal, 2 tree trimming, and 15 stumps ground. Total cost was 2700 dollars. I now have a lot of mess to clean up from the job. I asked for all debris to be removed. I personally wasn't satisfied and won't revisit this service next summer for my other jobs. *In response to the business note, there was not expanse to the scope. This service was so slow and communication from the manager was less than desirable. I do not recommend this service.
