O'Neil's Tree Service

I had a very tall pine tree which grew right up and through a large live oak. During Hurricane Helene my property got hit with its flood surge and saturated it. the pine took a drastic lean over my neighbor's house. I got bids to remove the tree and they ranged from low to very high. I went with O'Neil's Tree Service's bid as it was very fair compared to all the other bids; and I could see he was very knowledgeable and not a "butcher". I checked for their insurance and they had all the required ones with high limits which made me happy. A short time later the city planning came to me place and gave the OK to remove the tree. I spoke to the inspector about O'Neil's and he said they were some of the best. His crew came with all of the equipment and immediately saw the difficulty. The team leader planned the task wit his crew and they started piece by piece right down to the stump. It was nice to see all these hi-fives when the job was completed. So watching the master cut man and his ground crew in unison was a work of art. Clean up was perfect and off they went. Next day the stump grinder guy came and removed all of the tree remnants. I’ve used this tree service several times in the past for trimming, and they’ve always done excellent work. Most recently, they removed my massive 40-year-old oak, and once again I was extremely impressed. They have licensed arborists, which is very important to me that they know what they're doing, and their price for the removal was very fair. The crew was professional, respectful, and took my concerns about the wildlife living in the tree seriously, giving me clear assurances about how they would handle it. They communicated really well throughout the entire project, keeping us informed. On the day of our services, Payton, Brian, and Ben were the crew that came out to our property—they were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a tree with a yard chemical injury that left it with some browned and some dead branches. O'Neil's came out and gave us a professional consultation and then followed up to create a care plan which involved a significant 'haircut'. Their entire process was professional, efficient and excellent. We worked with Carson Smith, the owner Apollo O'Neil, and Roy on the front end- all communicated effectively and made it clear they actually cared about the health of the tree and understood what our goal was for the tree. The day of the work to restore the tree's beauty, they arrived on time, had all the equipment needed, and it was an impressive show of knowledge and expertise. We were done, including clean up, in about an hour and a half. They were always caring, respectful and I never felt taken advantage of...which to be honest is VERY rare these days. I can't say enough good things about our experience with this company! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
