Needed some dry firewood and NATS came through for me. They have a variety of wood to choose from, and were helpful while I was there. It is easy to get in and out of. You have to load your own wood and pay either cash or Venmo. Had a wonderful fire that evening.
JD, the guy who “even saved the bees” came and removed two trees, one front and one back. I’d asked that he not cut one to the ground so I could build a bird bath. He was all on-board. But, I think if you ask JD to do or don’t do something, he obliges. The tree in front that the builder installed was close enough to the house and irrigation lines that JD accidentally nicked the line for irrigation. Well he went up on to HD there on HWY 72 to get parts to repair, and his crew dug the lines out and did the repair. He and his crew had another job to get to, but they stayed and waited on us to get back from a planned lunch outing. OUTSTANDING! Listen, not all companies are perfect and WE all make mistakes. You know we do. I first encountered JD shortly after purchasing an ArteFlame and needed firewood. Least expensive: nope Most capable: most likely Holding to their word: ABSOLUTELY My dad told me - “When you look at a person eye to eye and make a promise, then that is your bond, your family, and your life.” Sappy to say, JD has that.
I called North Alabama Tree Service and spoke with the owner, JD on Monday of this week. He immediately came to my house as soon as we got off the phone and gave me a quote to remove a rather tall tree in my front yard. After getting several other quotes during the week, I chose JD because the way he described how he would take my tree down made sense compared to the other companies I spoke with. He and his 3 man crew showed up on Friday, the same week he gave me a quote, arrived on time and began working right away. It was apparent that the safety of the workers, especially the tree climber was very important. It was amazing to see the precision that was used by the tree climber to remove one limb at a time while the crew on the ground lowered each limb with ropes and immediately ground the limbs in a wood chipper. My tree was completely down within 1 1/2 hours, all the leaves were blown and cleaned up in my yard (and my next door neighbor's yard), the gutters were blown out where the tree was next to my house, and the street was completely cleaned. It was like they were never there except my tree was gone!!! I highly recommend JD. He seems very knowledgeable and is polite and professional. He doesn't shake hands.....he hugs!! He even went to my next door neighbor's house and told them they would be removing my tree but would not be dropping any limbs on their property. Thank you to JD and his crew for a job well done! I will definitely be using North Alabama Tree Service again.
I needed 2 tall maple trees in my small front yard removed because they were half dead. I searched for Tree service. JD was highly recommended. I called him. He came out and we agreed on work to be done. He was ready to come within a couple days. Sent me some insurance information. He came with a crew of 4 and machinery to do the job. The trees came down, wood chipped and loaded in trailers. The yard was clean in less than 2 hours. I am happy with JD and crew. I would recommend them to anyone.
We couldn’t be more pleased with North Alabama Tree Service! JD and his crew went above and beyond taking care of our tree. From the moment they arrived, they were polite, friendly, and incredibly professional. They made the whole process super easy and stress-free. They got the tree down within just a couple of hours, cleaned up every bit of the mess, and hauled everything off like it was never even there. JD and his team worked quickly, efficiently, and left our yard looking spotless. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend JD and his crew at North Alabama Tree Service to anyone needing tree work done. Five-star service all the way!
