Martin was great to deal with. I had 2 other companies look at the work needed to be done and We went with great view tree care because he walked me through everything that needed be done. I paid a little bit more than the other companies, but he provided the most confidence that we’d be taken care of. When the job was complete, they definitely over delivered and was more than satisfied at their work

Had a great experience with Martin Salas and his crew. They trimmed a giant oak, three redwoods and half a dozen other trees on our property. They were professional and efficient. Price was reasonable and they did a great job. Highly recommend.

This is the third tree service company we have hired in the past decade or so. My experiences have all been good, but with caveats. What sets Nice View Tree Care apart from “the rest” is the organizational structure of the business. What I mean is you aren’t getting the owner coming to your house with a clip board and his boss voice telling you what needs to be done. Yes, Martin is the boss and he visits your home to make the estimate. He’s not your typical “tree guy” though. Look, I get that as companies get bigger, the boss oftentimes has to stop doing the major work and start doing admin. The problem is that service can take a small drop-off when this happens. I experienced this in the estimate process. The tree company we hired 5+ years ago now had the boss with a different attitude. He really didn’t seem to want to do the job we discussed. He flat out did NOT want to handle the removals. He also hemmed and hawed about, “THIS JOB IS GONNA TAKE SIX GUYS.” Tell me you don’t want the work without telling you me you don’t want the work. He also never followed up with us. This led us to the flier in the mail from Nice View Tree Care. The company’s positive reviews led me to call for an estimate. Instead of “some time next week” of when they could come out, I was told I could have someone at our house the next day—ON A SATURDAY. Wow. The estimate process was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced due to one piece of tech that Martin (the boss), had with him: a laser pointer. Instead of pointing and squinting at our tree and making motions with his hand, he honed in on exactly where the tree needed attention. You can’t NOT see the green light where he was pointing. The other thing I liked about Martin is that he doesn’t have the all-knowing Boss Voice that other companies of this nature have. He was kind, knowledgeable and confirmed that we were on the same page regarding the work. We received a PDF of the estimate as promised and within the timeframe promised. The price was completely fair. On that note: you get what you pay for in tree removal, or anything else. It’s not cheap, but there are scales in pricing. I felt like Martin wasn’t trying to pad the invoice. The work itself was done on time and as promised. His crew was attentive and totally went above and beyond what I would expect from any service company. Since I’ve had two other tree crews in our yard, I can speak of experience in this regard. They also didn’t set up shop in front of our house in the same way that others have done. They kept the work to the driveway and yard instead of converting the street to a mini-logging camp. Yes, there was a kitty cutter but they didn’t have the crew cutting logs in the street. Yes, that’s happened in the past and it was a mess with another company. Martin was deep in the work and in the trees! It’s like watching a ballet as he moves around the tree on his ropes and gear. That will never get old to me. We requested that our giant black walnut tree maintain its overall shape, but have the heavy and/or broken branches removed. The tree is at the corner of the lot so two other yards were impacted. The entire process was handled with precision and care. Rain? NO PROBLEM. Another tree company hemmed and hawed about weather and leaves being too heavy, blah bah. Not Martin! He was up there doing his thing despite the weather. Side note: If you have any of the Most Despicable Tree On Earth, I mean the Tree of Heaven, this company will do an excellent job of removal of this invasive species. Many are not aware that this tree hosts the Spotted Lantern Fly. One of my life goals is to have every single one of these buggers removed from our property. Three down so far! Martin made sure to cut the stump and apply herbicide to it afterward. This is key! The tree can’t just be cut down. The stump needs to be managed, or you’re gonna have a bad time. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone I know who needs tree services. I look forward to having them return in the future.

I received brochure in mail from this company - “ Nice View - Tree Care,”I called and set up an appointment for them to give me an estimate of removal of three pine trees in my back yard - behind and very close to my in ground Gunite pool. Martin arrived - we discussed what I needed and then he preceded to suggest ways of doing the job - caution with the pool, ect. and at that time had agreed on a price. I told him that I am getting estimates and would get back to him. I called Martin a couple of days later and asked if he could come back out and talk about the job again - he said yes. December 2, he arrived back at the house - we talked over job and at that point I decided to hire him - paperwork was signed - insurance talked about and date set for December 7, 2021. Martin, along with his crew of 3 guys arrived here at my home around 0900. They preceded to set up brand new tarp over entire pool and tied tarp down. The Evergreen trees all 3 are very close to the in ground Gunite pool. Martin and his peer - Martin, started climbing two of the trees - went pretty much to the top - tied off and came back to the bottom of base of the tree and started cutting limbs off going up the trunk of the tree - as they got to the middle - started tying off limbs and lowering to the ground - using ropes - then Ricardo, and Francisco would pull limbs out to the road. The two ground guys - Francisco, Ricardo- strong - Professional !! The two, “ Martins,” in the trees - strong - professional !! When they left the place it looked amazing - The tarp, was left over the pool, ( grinding of the stumps tomorrow ) but the debris, smaller limbs, everything was clean ! Arriving tomorrow to do the grinding of the base of all three trees. Crew arrived today to remove 3 stumps. Good job with removal ! CLEAN UP WAS AWESOME BY THIS CREW/ BUSINESS I would highly recommend hiring Martin and his crew for anytime of tree removal. Please ask any questions - I will answer them ! Martin & Martin Ricardo, Francisco WHAT A CREW !!

Martin was trimming my neighbor’s trees when he noticed me struggling with an overgrown branch in my yard that was way to heavy for me to carry. Without hesitation, he rushed over to help me before i fell over. Its so rare to see someone willing to help others, even when they’re not officially on the job. Plus my neighbors cut trees looked great. so if you’re looking for a tree trimmer who not only does great work but also genuinely cares about people, Martin is the one to call. thanks again
