The whole process, from the initial visit, to the taking down of the dead trees, to the planting of new trees was a positive experience. All work was written in a detailed proposal along with pricing so there was never a surprise. The job itself was done professionally with the staff advising us and keeping us updated to their process. To us it was a huge undertaking to have these beautiful old dead oaks removed, and to have it accomplished with no added trauma to the area and trees surrounding it was amazing. Then to have new trees planted in their place which will be better suited for the area made us very happy. Thank you to everyone involved at New Leaf Tree Services.

New Leaf Tree Service is outstanding. Caleb and his team are incredibly responsive, organized, and professional. Safely removing large trees—especially those close to a home—is no small task, and New Leaf handles it with precision and care. They’re fully insured, equipped with the right machines and tools, and appear methodical in process. Over the years, they’ve removed at least seven large trees from our property, most of which were in poor condition (thus dangerous). They’ve also taken care of stump removals for us. Once, we tried another company that charged half the price—but I later found out that also meant they weren’t insured. Big red flag: the name on their truck, invoice, and email didn’t even match. They did remove a fairly large tree (thankfully not too close to the house). I'm no expert but from what I could see, it looked like they were winging it. The entire process felt risky and unprofessional. It was a stressful experience, and I quickly realized it wasn’t worth the savings. Never again. From that point on, we’ve only trusted New Leaf. Caleb White and his team at New Leaf have been taking care of my trees for many years. Caleb is a talented arborist who is very attuned to ecological issues which I greatly appreciate. He has done a wonderful job in pruning my trees when necessary and removing trees that have died. More recently I have engaged New Leaf's sister company New Leaf EcoLandscapes to remove invasive plants that had taken over one area of my property and replace them with some native trees and shrubs. Not surprisingly, they were terrific in doing that. I can't say enough about highly I regard New Leaf and Caleb.

Excellent company and my go-to for tree care on our property! The team is super communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable about ecology. They take great care in providing environmentally-friendly solutions to pretty much any problem, and seem to genuinely love the work they do. They tower above the canopy of tree competition in the area. I've had tree services from other companies before I discovered New Leaf and they were sub-par in comparison. The work: We have a beloved ancient butternut tree on our property that had a huge dead limb fall off resulting in a gaping hole in the side. Another company shrugged and recommended to just take down the whole tree entirely, but New Leaf came over to consult and recognized the importance of the tree to us, and through understanding the resilience of the species, worked to properly brace the tree, recommended a soil enhancement, and did a clean up trimming that would encourage proper new growth for a promising future. They did the work on-time, efficiently and cleanly, and deftly maneuvered their equipment around our property with minimal impact.
